|Chapter 3| Meeting New People

Aphmau's POV
I was having a dream... Ponies and rainbows everywhere! Everyone was shoving their face full of cupcakes! Then someone knocked on my door... "Pinkie Cake, NOOO!!!" I screamed as I got out of bed to see who was at the door. It better not be that Laurence guy hitting on me again. When I opened the door, the most interesting girl was standing on the other side of it. "OMG! YOUR KIGURUMI! It's so Kawaii! <3" The girl was looking at me like I was the cutest thing in the world... She had pink hair and she had a cat tail and ears...

??? POV
OMG! She is sooo kawaii! I must get to know her and ship her and someone! Maybe Kiki will ship them too! OMG! OMG! SHES ADORABLE!

Aphmau's POV
"Umm... Thanks? I'm Aphmau, what's your name?"
"Kawaii~chan" she says holding out her hand to shake mine.
"I was thinking today I would go meet some new people but one came to me!"
She giggles. "Kawaii~chan saw cute girl walk into this house! She just had to meet you!"
Hmm, I wonder why she talks in third person? "Nice to meet you Kawaii~chan!"
"Kawaii~chan will let you meet other people now! Bye Aphmau~senpai!"
I watched her walk away, her black cat tail waving excitedly. Soon, she disappears around a corner and I walk the other way to find some houses. There's six houses over here! Which one first? I knock on the door of the third one to the right. A beautiful girl with orange hair answered it.
"Hello, can I help you?" She asked sweetly.
"Yes actually, I'm going around getting to know the village. I'm new here!"
"Oh! Welcome to Phoenix Drop...uh..er, what's your name?"
"Aphmau, call me Aph for short." I say reaching my hand out.
"I'm Candenza! Daughter of the lord of Meteli."
"OH!" I bow down to her.
She laughs. "Y-you d-don't need to do that!" She says still laughing.
"Oh..." I look down at my feet, embarrassed.
" Would you like to come inside?" She indicated behind her.
"Sure!" I grin and step inside.

Cadenza's POV
"Would you like to come inside?" I asked the girl that had just moved into town.
"Sure!" She smiled and walked inside. I closed the door behind us.
"Would you like to sit down and talk?"
"Sounds good to me!"
"So, who have you met so far?"
"Hmm... Garroth, Laurence, Kawaii~chan, and you."
"Laurence?! He never talks to strangers until everyone knows them!"
She gave me a look that I read as 'really?!'.
"He knocked on my door and kept calling me 'his love'..."
We talked late into the evening and Aphmau said she had to leave. "Nice meeting you!"
"You too!" She responded as she walked out the door.

Aphmau's POV
I went home and changed into my kigorumi. I flopped onto my bed and I hid under my covers, falling asleep a few minutes later.
