|Chapter 17| Music, Babies, and Rings

Um... I think I have a really bad case of writers block write now.... HAHA SEE WHAT I DID THERE? write instead of right?..... FINE! I'M GONNA GO FIND MYSELF SOME VIEWERS WHO LAUGH AT MY PUNS! >:c

Zoey's POV

I waited in silence watching the looks on both Aphmau's and Garroth's face. Aph's face lit up as soon as she had saw what I did to the plaza, Garroth's face had a big smile as he proudly looked down at his "son".

"Well?" I asked seeing that they were both excited.

"It's amazing Zoey!" The cute couple said together.

"I'm glad you like it! Come join everyone else! I'll take Levin and put him with the other adorable babies." With that being said, I took Levin and put him in a pen with Alexis, Molly and Dale's daughter, and Kyle, Emma and Cory's son. The three greeted each other in their adorable baby language and started to play with the wooden blocks. They stacked them up like a tower, then knocked them over. As the colorful cubes of wood scattered on the floor, someone pulled me away from the kids and into the center of the women's chat group.

"Come on Zoey!" Chirped Aphmau when she finally let go of my hand.

"But the kids!" I complained.

"No worries!" She replied not looking worried even one bit.

Aphmau's POV
"Oh, come on Zoey! Live a little!" I said dragging the fairy elf to the dance floor. (Yes, some baby showers have those cx) Joyfully, I started dancing, nudging Zoey as she stood there watching me and everyone else dance. Eventually, she started dancing and when the song Come Little Children came on, she grabbed a microphone and sung along. (Because she sang it in The Voice! If you don't understand, go read my other book ;D) Garroth approached me and asked, "May I have this dance?" I accepted and we danced to Zoey's voice and the music. Everyone, but the babies, dropped what they were doing and circled around us as we danced and danced. When Zoey was done, Garroth let go of me and dropped on one knee. My heart started racing as he reached into the pocket of his jeans.

"Aphmau, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" He was staring deep into my eyes, making me fall in love with him all over again.

"Garroth Ro'Meave," I started my reply, "Would you like to be Levin's stepfather?" He smiled the happiest grin anyone could have as he slid the engagement ring onto my ring finger. He then stood up and crashed his lips onto mine and it felt like we were the only two people in the world at that moment. We were brought back to reality when Garroth released me and the crowd cheered.

"Aphmau~senpai! You are a very lucky women!"

"Congrats you love birds!"

"I knew it! I knew you to were meant to be! My ship is never coming back!" Almost everyone was cheering. One male who was standing in a corner, banging his fist on the wall, was not looking as joyful as the rest of the attendees.

Garroth's POV

I noticed that a certain straight forward, brown haired man was standing in a corner pounding on the stone wall in front of him. Laurence... I approached him, not caring if he would notice me, I just wanted to give him a pep talk.

"Laurence... S-she just didn't return the feelings... You do know that she couldn't have had feelings for us both? I'm sure it was hard for her to choose! We put her under a lot of pressure... One day, you WILL find someone else to love, and if you refuse to stop loving Aphmau, then you might end up even more miserable then you are right now. She will always love you as family. We are family. Now come join the party, I want you to be my Best Man." He looked up at me, no longer beating the wall with his bruised knuckles.

"G-Garroth... Of course I will!" His blue eyes lit up with joy and we walked out onto the dance floor. Laurence and I started showing off, we were doing a dance off for Aphmau's love. I won, as always, and picked up my newly won woman and pecked her on the cheek. The party went on for another hour before everyone cleaned up and went home. When Aph and I finished cleaning, I picked her up, as I had done an hour earlier, and carried her all the way home with Zoey behind us carrying Levin.

"I'll take care of Levin, you guys go have fun." Zoey winked at us before shutting the door to Levin's room. I simply smiled at Aphmau and locked our door behind us. This would be fun.

Not getting into that but, yeah... I started making this chapter a few days ago! I had writers block and today I'm just doing great! I personally think this is one of my best chapters yet... My favorite part of this chapter is around the time where Garroth popped the question. Buh bye! Will Dante accept Garroth and Laurence's 'challenge', or will he just pull a prank with Aph? Will Aph accept that prank? Will the Garmaus and Larmaus FINALLY come together to overkill the Danmaus?
