|Chapter 12| Scaring Brendan

Garroth's POV

I woke up and smiled as I looked at Aphmau who had her head on my chest. I had to get to my post since it was my job as a guard to protect Phoenix Drop. I was sad at the thought of having to leave her but, I have to protect her and Levin. I slid out from under her, being careful not to wake her. I covered her with the blankets knowing that she would get cold in bed by herself. I get up and change into my armor. I made breakfast and left it on the counter for Aph and then went up to see Levin. He was curled up in a ball and sucking his thumb. I blew a kiss to him and left the house to go to my post at the gate.

Aphmau's POV

I watched Garroth leave the room. I had pretended to be sleeping when he got up. I was sad that he left, I like to cuddle with him. After I heard him walk out the door, I got up and got dressed. I crossed the hall to Levin's room with the blue door. I watched him sleep to make sure he was going to be okay. After five minutes, I walked downstairs and ate the french toast that Garroth had left for me, it was drowned in maple syrup. When I had finished, I put the plate in my sink and read a book until I heard Levin crying. I brought up a bottle of milk with me. Levin smiled when I walked into his small room. I picked him up and gave him the bottle, he chugged it until it was gone. I took the bottle and Levin downstairs and put the bottle in the sink with the plate. I walked out the door, still carrying Levin, to check on the village. I headed straight to Zoey, who was in the plaza decorating for a baby shower she had planned for Levin.

"Hey Zoey! Can you watch Levin while I check on everyone?" I asked.

"Of course! I LOVE babies! They're so CUTE!" She squealed. I put Levin down and waved to Zoey before I went to check on everyone. When I was walking towards where Kawaii~chan, Emmalyn, and Cadenza lived, I saw Brendan crouching behind a tree.

"Brendan! WHAT ARE YOU DOING! You better not be checking out girls again!" I shout in a sassy tone.

"B-but, Kawaii~chan's so pretty..." He said swooning.

"I DON'T CARE! YOU GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE SO I CAN DRAG YOU BY THE EAR TO KIKI'S!" After I shouted that, he ran away.

"That's better..." I muttered before finishing my job. I went home after picking up Levin and found that Garroth was already there.

Garroth's POV

I saw Aphmau climb up the stairs to her purple and white house.

"I can take Levin and you can get some dinner, I already made some." I say as soon as she's at the same sea level as me. She gave me Levin and held the door open so I didn't drop him. I grabbed a bottle for Levin and slowly walked up the stairs. When he finished his bottle, I took it from him and kissed him on the forehead before I place him in his crib. I walked back downstairs and cleaned the bottle before heading upstairs where my love was waiting.

"If I were kidnapped," Aphmau started, "Would you come after me?"

"Anytime... If you were kidnapped, I would risk my life to save you..." I whisper in her ear before pecking her cheek. She giggled and kissed me on the lips. Her lips tasted like cake... Mmm cake... We were making out for around five minutes before we decided to get some sleep. I lay down and she placed her head on my bare chest. I put my right arm around her thin waist and pulled her closer.

Kawaii~chan, YOU GO GURL! BEAT THEM UP! RAWR! MEIF'WA ATTACK! Haha! Did you SEA my smartness? 'Same sea level as me' haha SEA now? No? FINE!
