Chapter 13:

Chapter 13: Lucas

"I can't believe him. Damn him! I can't believe it! That stupid, damn him!" I cursed in the portal with others looking at me suspiciously.

I stood up with much rage of what my human said to the one I loved. The one I cared about the most.

"Damn it! I knew I shouldn’t have let her fall. I should have been the one." I cried out loud, and then tears started falling out of my eyes.

"Stop child!" a man's familiar voice echoed the hallway.

"Why?" I asked. I asked with tears filling my eyes.

"Because it's useless." he said.

"Why is it useless, I'm the one who’s useless, I'm the one whose suppose to fall not her, not her!" I screamed.

"Child calm down." a woman's voice appeared and her hand patted my back.

"It’s useless, I'm useless, I shouldn't have, I couldn't have. Why? Why my Lord? What have I done wrong?" I asked. “What have I done wrong?” I asked again.

"Child there is nothing you can do but wait." the man's voice was nearer and nearer 'til he was already beside the woman and me.

"Lucas my boy there is still hope. But you have to be certain with your choices." she told me.

"I am already ever since she took the fall. My mind is going around and everywhere I look, I can see her, it isn't normal for me without her." I said. “I was never normal without her, we all know that.” I shouted.

"You both have lust for each other?" the woman said.

"They had ever since they'd been friends. Ever since they bumped into each other in the council room, ever since the first time they've met." the man said.

"So it was lust, from the very start?" the woman questioned.

"Lust is a hard word for it to be describe maybe another word is appropriate and higher and stronger then lust." the man said.

"Like what else?" the woman asked.

"L.O.V.E I guess." I spoke finally.

"How did you know of this word?" the man asked.

"I have seen it." I answered.

"Where have you seen it child?"

"Who are you first?"

"I am Damsel." the woman answered.

"My name is Marshall." the man spoke.

"My name is---" I said but then the woman and man interrupted.

"We know your Lucas. And you've been having some problems of your own." they both said.

"How did you know?"

"We are some of the council." they both said.

"Don't hide yourself child." Marshall said. “It wouldn’t do any good to you.”

"Yes child, it isn't good. You must possess what is inside of you and make sure you use it the right time, child. We all know you have a strong will power right inside of you." Damsel supported.

"You seem different. I can feel your strong sense for something." Marshall said.

"Lucas, what are you waiting for?" Damsel asked.

"I'm waiting for the full moon, so that the power will become strong." I replied.

"Boy, but we need all the power we need to illuminate the moon's brightness." Damsel argued.

"But I have to go on that date to..."

"Damsel, please don't argue with the boy, he is right too. He will leave that day to follow the girl’s steps." Marshall agreed with me and nodded.

"Thank you. Please you have to understand why she wanted to take her step down." I said.

"Oh you children are always all lovey dovey there, it isn't right." Marshall said.

"I haven't been like this ever since I've seen it." I replied.

"Well child learn your lesson well. You have a strong power illuminating inside yourself and it has to be used wisely." Damsel said.

"Yes I agree. Lucas you must use it in the midst of danger only and only for danger." Marshall said.

"Thank you. I won't forget that." I replied.

I was beyond my will of saying anything. I have been cursing myself and worst of all what if she was being cursed too.
