Chapter 11: Lucas

I was leaving my room just about to go to work, or well in other words just getting to go and look at what Laurie had to say about soap operas he’s been listening to all day.

I walked down the stairs which led me to the portal of myths which encouraged me to look down and look at what his doing.

"So class the soap operas has lots of tone. I don't mean to get into Ms. France's head but because it's part of literature to, especially in musicals." He started writing on the board “Soap Opera”.

"But Mr. Greens, aren't you suppose to be discussing about something else?" a blonde girl at the back was toting with her hair making a scene for her to be finally seen.

"Sasha, please don't interrupt me, please, manners?" he said holding up the chalk from his hand and started writing again.

"Oh um are you in a hurry sir?" a girl up front asked Laurie.

"No. I just have a meeting with a person, Serina."

"Oh, I guess you need someone to cover up for you?" the girl asked Laurie, he smiled at her and handed her the chalk from his hand.

"Yeah please Serina discuss what you want to discuss and please send me a report of it okay?" he said grabbing his coat from the table and his bag from the side.

"Yeah, I got it sir." She said and hurried in front of the class as Laurie hurried out hearing the last thing from the whole class. "Yeah little Ms. Pet." the class yelled, then he shut the door.

Laurie exited the room and strolled down to the parking lot, leaving a sigh and took off with his old bug.

Laurie reached Malibu high, at least ten minutes tops. I knew where he would go. He would obviously go to the diner and pick up some tacos on the go with his extra fries and a cheese burger. But he was different today. He seemed agitated and more careful with his actions. What was going on? He was never like this before. Did something happen while I was on my depression?

Laurie entered the diner with everyone greeting him just like before. He looked around and took a table and started scanning other tables. Then a cab came with a lady that had brown[T1]  hair.

Laurie hurried to the door and opened the door for the lady, he gave her a smile and led her to the table by the window.

"Please do sit down." He told the lady.

"Thank you." she said as she smiled at him.

The voice of the girl was very familiar it was very familiar that I knew I would have to take a closer look at the girl.

I stood closer to the portal and zoomed to the diner table at the window seeing a girl with brown hair that was never worth exposing to the sun light, a girl with shining eyes like the sun.

Just when I saw the hair I then knew, she had done what she said, she kept her word. She kept everything she had told me.

And I knew who that was. And I remember what she said. She said those three words and that my dream was wrong about her.

The girl was Shroud. And she was with my human.
