Chapter 10: Shroud

He looked pale and he looked as if he had just come back from a soap opera that had tortured him from listening.

I've been to one of those places and it wasn't a pretty place that I would like to go to.

I was more like a classical inspirational songs and people. Not octave, soprano kind of ones.

"Nice to meet you Ms. Longwind, how may I help you then?" Laurie turned to red and smiled at me.

"My pleasure Mr. Greens, I’ve been waiting a long time to finally get to meet you." I returned back a smile.

"Oh you girls must have been talking about me."

"Oh not that much." Serina blushed and turned around to go to her class.

"I'm sorry to be a bother of you and your class Mr. Greens but I must get to meet you or talk to you about something private somewhere."

"Talk? Mmhh, about what? Is something wrong?” he asked as some of his sweat started pouring down his face.

“Yes, talk. I need to talk to you.” I told him. He looked uncomfortable and looked back at me.

“Um sure, okay um, I guess I'll meet you in a diner in about,” he looked at his watch and looked back up at me. “30 minutes after I discuss a soap opera to them."

"Oh yes and where is that?"

"It's in Malibu high just around the street."

"Oh I guess I'll meet you there." I told him and walked back.

So I was right he had been to a soap opera or maybe in a DVD soap opera to discuss a lesson to his class.

He would go all through that just to discuss to them soap operas. For me I would rather let them know about classical things and deeds for them needed to learn.

"So I'll meet you there." He called back as I was in the middle of the hallway.

"Yeah, I guess so, for now well good bye." I waved and smiled back at him as he entered his classroom filled with smiling students so eager to meet him, as if for the first time something so bright was entering in their lives.

“Good bye.” He said and left towards his class.

With Serina in the front seat with her notebook and textbook, she looked upward to see her teacher in front of her as she smiled at him.

“Alright class, let’s start, today we’ll be discussing about music, specifically soap opera’s.”

I left, sort of in a hurry. I waved a taxi a told the cabby about the diner nearby, and he said he knew where it was, so he took me their in a jiffy.

After a few moments of silence I told the cabby to go to the diner, the taxi drove off leaving Serina and her notes to be done with.
