Chapter 24: All that you've been waiting for.... Fashion Night

~Fashion Night~
Everyone was busy preparing for the show, Valeria was pacing back and forth. Her heels pounding against the wooden floor, she was extremely worried about now, what if she fails about her speech? What if-

Her thinking was cut off when Kevin showed up with his tuck, hands placed behind his back and standing straight on the middle of the door, she ran into his arms and they pecked each other’s lips. Mary was assisted by a couple of ladies who applied her makeup and did her hair, Seth entered and watched her, she saw his reflection by the mirror and smiled at him warmly,

“Seth! Thank god, I thought you weren’t coming” she said and heaved a sigh of relief,

“I would never abandon my beloved” he gave her a reassuring smile, approached and gestured her hand.

“Okay, people! The fashion show’s starting everyone on your pla-“ the lady was cut off when her eyes landed on the brothers: Seth and Kevin. “It’s nice having you here on the fashion show your highnesses” she curtsied “I have chairs for you outside, if you please?” she lead them to the audience’s seat. Valeria blew a kiss to Kevin and relaxed on a chair, Seth left along with Kevin and the lady. Sasha spotted her ‘father’ and jumped into his lap, Kevin was shocker but hugged Sasha instead.

“Set your places everyone” Christian clapped his hands repeatedly as he entered the room “Valeria get ready” he pointed at Valeria, he fixed his tux and walked out into the run-way. Valeria heard some cheering when his name was announced,

“Let’s welcome Christian Lacroix!” the announcer said, Christian walked out of the room and walked confidently on the cat-walk waving his hands along. When he finished modeling the announcer handed him the microphone,

“A wonderful tonight for everybody!” he greeted, his right hand holding the mike and the left waving to the audience. Kevin and Seth was sitting on the audience, they don’t seem to catch so many attention, that is until Queen Olivia and King Kelandry arrived. A small bump was forming on Queen Olivia’s stomach, Kevin and Seth accompanied their parents to the available seats beside them. “As you all know… A new fashion designer is born!” everyone cheered and clapped “Let’s call on Miss Valeria Loe FairHolm” he pointed on the entrance, Valeria with a smile plastered across her face walked out of the room and began modeling her design, hands on her hips, she walked out with grace and confidence. Her dress was flowing wildly behind her, her hair was hanging loosely behind her bag straightened, she walked beside Christian and he handed her the microphone.

“Hello everybody!” she waved, everyone cheered “So I am new to fashion designing but trust me, I have been drawing dresses ever since I was 3” she laughed and everyone did “Anyways, this is my first cat-walk and the modeling of my line” she smiled “But I am afraid that this would be my last” she paused “Let’s talk about that later, now, my designs are inspired by the people around me, and especially my mother, who is a fashion designer before me, inspired me severely with her reputation so ever since I was young I dreamt about being like her. To become a great fashion designer, and now I am here, standing in front of you all, sharing my story, but let’s proceed on the modeling!” she handed the microphone back to the announcer.

The music began playing and models began walking out, swaying their hips side to side. Cecily was also there, and appeared before Mary,

“The finale dress!” the announcer said, Mary got out, she was wearing an elegant pink dress. Walking in the cat-walk confidently with hands on her hips, a smile of pride was on her face. Everyone stood up from their seats and clapped their hands continuously, even the royal family got on their feet saying ‘bravo’ especially king Kelandry and Queen Olivia. Mary was just shocked when she spotted her parents clapping and cheering for you, she blew them a kiss and placed her attention back to modeling
