After lunch, Valeria dragged him to her room. Kevin was surprised, her room was neat, and her books where neatly arranged on the shelf by the wall. She has a cute, small bed with soft pillows and teddy bears which was placed at the middle of the window with red curtains hanging freely at the sides allowing a great amount of sunlight to shine through the windows, there we’re 2 end tables at the sides of the bed which both have lamps placed above, she has a desk on the right side of the room which has her laptop placed at, he looked at the dresser by the left side of the room which has an elegant, oval mirror above it. It seems like a princess’ room.

“Nice place” Kevin complimented

“Thanks” she said and head towards the guitar on the wall,

“I am surprised, you play as well” he said, Valeria turned and smiled at him, she grabbed her guitar and made she comfortable by the side of her bed, Kevin sat beside her. She began strumming the guitar, to Kevin he began hearing the chords of ‘Teardrops on my Guitar’ so then she began singing.

Drew looks at me
I fake a smile so he won't see
What I want and I’m needing
And everything that we should be
I'll bet she's beautiful
That girl he talks about
And she's got everything
That I have to live without
Drew talks to me
I laugh 'cause it's just so funny
I can't even see
Anyone when he's with me
He says he's so in love
He's finally got it right
I wonder if he knows
He's all I think about at night
He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car I keep singing
Don't know why I do
Drew walks by me
Can he tell that I can't breathe?
And there he goes, so perfectly
The kind of flawless I wish I could be
She better hold him tight
Give him all her love
Look in those beautiful eyes
And know she's lucky 'cause
He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car I keep singing
Don't know why I do
So I drive home alone
As I turn out the light
I'll put his picture down
And maybe get some sleep tonight
'Cuz he's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only one who's got enough of me to break my heart
He's the song in the car I keep singing
Don't know why I do
He's the time taken up but there's never enough
And he's all that I need to fall into
Drew looks at me
I fake a smile so he won't see

After Valeria finished singing and strumming her guitar, Kevin can’t help but stare at her features. He knew that right at his spot, he was ‘love struck’ though he hated to admit. Valeria knows he was staring at her aimlessly so she felt self-conscious; she glanced at his chocolate-brown eyes which resulted to a stare. She found herself melting in them; she just seemed to be mesmerized though something she felt was wrong, there are something about his eyes that he seemed to hide. Those brown eyes of his seemed to hide something and Valeria knew that she has to know.

“You have a voice like an angel’s” he complimented snapping out of his trance; Valeria stood up and hid her blush while placing the guitar back in place. “I have to ask you something… Privately” he told her

“Sure, umm, maybe at the backyard” she said and carefully grabbed his hand and lead him to the backyard of the house. Kevin was amused, he knew that Arlandia was beautiful but he never did have the chance to admire the lake, it was an amazing scenery, he sucked in the fresh air. He saw Valeria sit on a wooden swing with white cushions, he doesn’t know what to do so he followed and sat beside her, he saw Valeria gazing high up in the sky. He followed her gaze and saw that she was staring at a beautiful full moon.“What do you want to tell me again?” she asked and turned to look at Kevin who was staring at the moon, He turned to look at her. Time flies so fast, when they’re with each other, they haven’t noticed it was already night time when they came out of her room.
