Chapter-23: Same Mistakes

*Kellin's POV*

I am so glad Jayde was up for the party tonight. I have been off from touring for so long and this is the perfect way to celebrate the start of tour. Of course I was pretty well lit before I got home. I invited my band mates, Pierce The Veil, All Time Low, Memphis May Fire, Black Veil Brides, Escape The Fate, Falling In Reverse, Linkin Park and many others that I just can't remember. By the time I had bought all the alcohol and got back to the house, nearly everyone was there.

I walked in the door and carried the booze to the bar. I grabbed myself a bottle of whiskey and walked away. I couldn't fine Jayde anywhere, she was probably still getting ready for the party. I saw Mariah standing in the corner all alone so I made my way over to her.

"Hey there," I said cautiously. I wasn't really sure if she hated me or not. "Hi," she whispered softly. "How've you been?" I asked, genuinely curious as to what she has been up too. I know she was dating Damon, and I am dating Jayde but honestly where was Damon? I have always been in love with Mariah, I just developed feelings for Jayde.

"I've been better," she said as she eyes the room. "Wanna dance?" I asked her. What harm was in dancing? We dance for like 20 minutes well I kept taking swigs of straight Jack Daniels. I stopped her from dancing and looked into her eyes and just kissed her with all I had.

She was hitting my chest, not kissing me back. Her lips were so soft, but resistant. "WHAT THE HELL?" Damon and Jayde screamed simultaneously but from opposite ends of the house. The music stopped. Ah fuck. What did I just do? Jayde looked at me, tears brimming her eyes. I could feel Mariah's and Damon's glares piercing into my soul.

"Mariah, we are done. I can't believe you cheated on me," Damon said looking at Mya, his voice filled with sadness. She stared at him wide eyed. She but her lip and her face was beat red. She glanced at Jayde, with a worriedly expression.

"Mya, I love you. Hell I'm in love with you," I said softly.

*Jayde's POV*

"Mya, I love you. Hell I'm in love with you," Kellin said softly while looking into her blue orbs. I choked on my tears. Adam already did this to me, now Kellin's doing it also? I was enraged.

"WHAT THE HELL KELLIN? IM STANDING RIGHT FUCKING HERE? OR DID YOU FORGET ABOUT ME, YOUR GIRLFRIEND? DID YOU FORGET THAT YOUR THREE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER CALLS ME MOMMY? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GOING TO TELL HER NOW? I'VE TAKEN CARE OF HER MORE THAN YOU HAVE! I LET MYSELF FALL FOR YOU EVEN THOUGH I HAVE HAD A ROUGH EXPERIENCE! HOW COULD YOU KISS MY BESTFRIEND AND TELL HER THAT YOU LOVE HER?! WHY KELLIN? WHY?" I screamed at him. By this time the whole room was silent. I had gathered a crowd. Jesse stepped in, "Kellin man, why?" He asked. His voice filled with disbelief.

"I am drunk bro," Kellin said shrugging. Wow. Really? After everything we had. After everything I did for him. Whatever. I'm done. I will still be Copeland's "mother" because I love her so much. She honestly means everything to me.

"They say a drunk man's actions are a sober man's thoughts," I whispered to him softly. "Oh and Kellin, we're done," I stated. I walked over to Mariah, pulling her into a hug. "I know you didn't kiss him back because of me. I know that none of this is your fault. But be honest with yourself and Damon, you have always loved Kellin and always will. So good luck. I love you baby girl," I murmured into her hair letting a few tears fall. I pulled away to find Jeydon staring at me, I gave him a small smile and ran to my secret place where no one would find me. I needed to be alone.

Sorry it's been a while guys, I'm trying to write more. I injured my wrist, I have no idea how. The docs said I have tendinitis but it hurts worse than that, it is also my writing hand & I have taken the brace off to write in school so I am in a lot of pain and when I type I get flashes of sharp pain like someone is stabbing me in my wrist.
