Chapter-10: Bulletproof Love

*Jayde's POV*

I have no idea what to do with my life. I'm sitting here with Jeydon playing Zombies. Being with him was so perfect, we acted like best friends but yet we love each other and we are dating.

I'm still battling with insecurities and trust issues but, hey, shit happens, right? Sometimes I just wish I could run away and erase my mind of all the bad stuff. But I can't, life doesn't work that way. My thoughts were interrupted like always, when Jeydon screamed, "Nooooooo!"

"What? Did you lose?" I said in a baby voice.

He turned his head and glared at me while saying, "No the fucking power went out." He was pouting. Haha what a loser. Shit he said the power went out. I groaned. I hate getting rainstorms, especially when I'm in the middle of playing Zombies. Like honestly? Ugh.

"We can make a video? My laptop is fully charged and I have some lanterns?" I asked.

He just shook his head. "No, we can just cuddle and talk," he replied. I just nodded and lifted my arms so he could carry me.

He chuckled and mumbled, "Lazy ass." I just giggled as he picked me up and carried me.

*Mariah's POV*

I had received a text from Kellin, saying that he met with his lawyer and has to talk to me. I basically live at Jayde's house because her parents are never home. I guess he is meeting me here. I've been laying down on the couch listening to Pierce The Veil ft. Kellin Quinn- King For a Day.

I am absolutely in love with this song, I was singing when I heard the front door handle turn. I jumped and quickly turned of my music. My cheeks turning a slight pink color as Kellin walked into the room. He was grinning.

"Hi," I mumbled not really wanting to talk to him but I decided that I need to suck it up. I felt the couch sink next to me.

"Hey," he whispered.

This is going to be a long conversation. I just want it to end. "Lynn..." He whispered. I looked at him. Not really wanting to but it was the polite thing to do. "I met with my attorney today, I signed the divorce papers and requested full custody of Katelyn. Meetze said that he would send Katelyn the papers and let me know when everything is set. I am going to see if Jay will let me stay here," he said his eyes never breaking contact from mine. He was telling the truth! Everything he said was true!

"Kellin, that's amazing! When your on tour I can keep Copeland here with me. Jayde and I love having Copeland over," I said with pure happiness in my voice. He leaned in to kiss me an I pushed him away. "Look, you are still married, that's just wrong. I also need time to figure out my feelings, I mean I liked you for a long time and then I got over them, dated a douche bag and got my heart broken. Then all of a sudden you come back into the picture and tell me you have feelings for me. It's all just a little to much," I say quietly.

He just nods and looks down. "I'm sorry, I just.. I wanna be with you," he mumbles.

I just hug him and go to walk to the kitchen when the power goes out. Shit. I'm terrified of being in Jayde's house when it's this dark. All of a sudden I hear footsteps an my breath started to hitch in my throat. Arms wrap around my waist and I get pulled into someone. I scream and jump. I start struggling to get away, at this point I'm crying. Then everything goes black.

Hey sorry guys, I know it's been a while but I have had major writers block. And when I stare at te screen to long my eyes hurt and I get headaches but not anymore cuz I got glasses!
