Chapter 22

Lloyd

We sat in our chairs and stared at the firepit. After a few minutes, Kai lit the fire, and we went back to staring. We should be out saving my parents by now. I thought after a few minutes of silence. I stood up and grabbed the hoodie off the chair next to me.

" Well, this has been great and all, but I'm gonna go save my parents now." I said, zipping up the hoodie.

" You aren't leaving alone." Kai said, not moving.

" Well who's gonna save them? Obviously not any of you!" I shouted.

" We could call Dareth." Jay said, not even looking at me.

" Yeah, that's reassuring. I'm gonna leave the life of my familly in the hands of the brown ninja of fakeness!" I shouted. A few birds flew out of the tree behind us.

" I'm going." I said, walking away.

" Lloyd, wait!" Cole called, standing up. I turned around in hopes of a motivational speech. " Is that my hoodie?" He asked. I groaned and kept walking.

" I'm sorry, Lloyd!" He said, coming after me. I stopped once more and glared at him.

" They could already be dead! I'm going to find them and you can't stop me!" I shouted, trying to run away. Cole grabbed me by the hood. I tried to pull out of his grasp, but he was stronger than I anticipated.

" Lloyd." He said calmly. I sighed and stopped pulling. I turned around and faced him again.

" You can't save them alone." He said. And he was right. I couldn't.

I sighed. " Then what can I do?" I asked.

" You let us help you." He said, smiling.

" Yes!!" I screamed, jumping up and down. The ninja jumped out of their seats and put on their hoodies.

" Now lets go save our Senseis!!" Cole shouted. We all let out our loudest battle cries and we all ran into the forest. I will get my family back. I thought. I will get my family back.
