Chapter 23

Ten minutes into the journey.....

Jay

" I give up!" I panted, leaning against a tree.

" Jay, please!" Lloyd begged, pulling on my arm.

" Do you think acting like a toddler will help your case?" I hissed at him.

" Yes. Please!!!" He shouted.

" Lloyd!! " The others shouted at him. He sighed and flopped onto the ground.

" I permit you guys a five minute rest." He said, pouting. They sighed and all fell to the ground.

" Who knew we were so out of shape!" Kai said in amazment.

" We shouldn't be, according to logic." Zane said.

" Oh, would you stop with the whole logic thing!!" Cole shouted. " We need a new approach."

" We could divide up into teams of two, and the remainder goes and waits at camp, incase the Senseis return?" I suggested.

" No, Jay, that would be stupid." Lloyd said, waving his hand as if swatting a fly. We sat in silence for a moment before Lloyd shot up.

" I got it! Why don't we divide up into two teams of two, and the remainder goes to camp and waits to see if the Senseis return!!" He shouted excitedly.

" Hey, that was my idea!!" I shouted.

" TM." Lloyd said smuggly.

" What?"

" TM."

" What the heck is that suppose to mean?"

" I trade marked your idea."

" You can't do that!!"

" I just did, so BOOM, IN YO FACE!!!!"

" Stop it, both of you!!!" Cole shouted, slapping both of us on the back of the head. " I don't care whose idea it was, but we are doing it, so shut up!"

" Alright, whose on what team?" Kai asked.

" You guys divide up, I'll head back to camp and keep guard." Zane said, standing up.

" Alright, then we can do Jay and Kai, and myself and Lloyd." Cole said. " Clear?"

" Clear." We all said in some-what unison. Zane disappeared into the woods in a flash. The remaining four of us found our partner and went our own ways. Cole and Lloyd headed North, and Kai and myself headed South.
