{Jelsa} The Dare That Became A Reality

Chapter 4

Elsa's POV

The weekend passed rather... Smoothly. But I am very annoyed that Jack has became a totally different person with this dare. He isn't the best friend I used to know, he's changed.

Jack picked me up in the morning and we went off to school. Plenty of eyes were on the both of us when we walked along the hallways. Jack was holding my hand and the usual gossipers were gossiping.

In class, the crazy girls surrounded Jack again. What else is new, I said in my mind. The girls left their phone numbers, addresses and such. When all of a sudden, this girl who was dressed like a total slut approached us.

"Hey Frost, what are you doing with that girl beside you?" She asked.

I was boiling with anger. Jack quickly squeezed my arm, preventing me from doing anything. "Why what do you mean?" Jack asked coolly.

"I mean, why have you been holding her hand all morning?!" She snapped.

"Elsa's my girlfriend, so? Who said I can't hold her hand? Who are you to tell me what to do?" Jack asked.

"Oh, so you got a girlfriend huh? You have no taste in girls, Jackson. Of all the girls in the world, you have to be with this girl? You are so gonna regret it-"

Before she finished, a book got whacked at the back of the head. I looked, it was Punzie. Things just got serious. "Hey Athena, you done nagging yet?" Punzie challenged. Oh, her name is Athena? That name is going into my death note.

"I am not nagging, I am just saying how stupid this boy is." Athena replied.

"And how is Jack stupid?" I stood up and faced her.

"He is stupid by choosing a girl like you to be his girlfriend. Who are you to be his girlfriend anyway? You're not qualified. Unlike me." Athena replied.

This time, Jack got up from his seat and slapped her. That slap attracted the whole class' attention.

"Excuse me but what qualification do YOU have?!" Jack shouted. "You're a whore! A slut! Do you even take pride on that clothing you're wearing?! So what if Elsa is my girlfriend, I have the right to choose whoever I want to date, you don't control my life! And if you think that I would ever date you, keep dreaming! Cause that will never happen in reality!"

The poor girl was hurt. A small tear trickled down her face and she ran off. A few students laughed.

"You..." I turned to Jack. "You-"

"Don't say it." Jack cut in.

"Good job there." Punzie patted his back.

The class went from silent back to noisy. Only this time, the news on Jack and I are dating has spread. Dating the most popular boy gives you this. Note to self, never play truth or dare ever again.

"So, enjoying the moment?" Punzie took a seat beside me.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"Enjoying your dare?" She explained.

"Is it not obvious enough? No! I am not enjoying this dare, can I quit?" I replied.

"It's only the third day Elsa, too early." Punzie smiled.

I rolled my eyes and kept quiet. Then the teacher came in, taught, gave homework, and done. Jackson, I mean, Jack. Gosh I need to get used to calling him Jack for the time being. Anyway, Jack actually fell asleep while the teacher for teaching. Luckily he didn't get caught this time.

"Should we leave him?" I whispered to Punzie, grinning.

"Do you have the heart to do so?" Punzie giggled.

"Of course, why wouldn't I?" I asked.

"What?! Uh, I mean... Darn it. Never mind." Punzie quickly replied.

"What?" I asked. "Come on, let's go."

We walked out of the class, calmly, before I laughed. Tooth and Astrid met up with us. "Hey, what's up?" Astrid asked. "How's the dare going I might add?"

"Horrible." I sighed. "I don't even like him, how am I supposed to have the feeling of doing this dare?"

"Of course you like him!" Tooth exclaimed.

"As a friend, as a friend. Not boyfriend type of like." I rolled my eyes.

"Report." Punzie muttered.

"What?" All three of us said at the same time.

"Nothing, school report." Punzie replied.

Jack came running, panting. "Why didn't you tell me anything, Elsa?!"

"Why didn't you stay awake?" I asked back, trying to contain my laughter.

Jack pulled me into a hug. Uh... AWKWARD!!!! In front of the whole school! "Snowflake, you know me." Jack said.

"Um yeah sure, let me go Frosty." I tried to loosen his grip.

"No, continue hugging, it's sweet." Punzie burst out laughing. "Anna's gonna be so happy. Come on Elsa, enjoy the moment here."

How do you expect me to enjoy the moment?! I yelled in my mind. I don't want Jack to be like this, I just want him to be my best friend, that's all I want. He's so much better that way. Jack isn't Jack any longer after this dare. I regret playing truth or dare on that very day.
