Elsa's POV
Today, is a very special day. To be honest, I won't have the answer if you were to ask me why. The minute I woke up, it just felt like something great was gonna happen. It felt special, magical. I rarely get this feeling, so I can't remember the last time I felt like this and what was the occasion.
Anna was grinning ear to ear ever since this morning. I had no idea why she was like that, she wouldn't tell me, so I'm just guessing Kristoff got something for her. This was the exact same grin when she became a couple with Kristoff, so just guessing.
I was excited for later on this evening, Jack asked me out. Although he asked me out a couple times before, this felt a little different, it's a good different. Slowly the day passed by, it was irritating, I just couldn't wait! He has a surprise waiting, and I would love to know what it's about.
The hardest problem was most likely picking clothes. I never cared that much about clothing, but I really wanted to dress to impress. Like I said, I feel today is a special day and I should look my best.
"Someone's looking good, as she should be." Anna teased.
"How do I look?" I asked.
"I just said that already." Anna chuckled. "Relax, Jack loves you for the way you are. You yourself is already enough to make him fall head over heels."
"Thanks." I replied, still a little nervous. Never before had I ever been this nervous for Jack! What on earth is going on...
*Time skip*
I looked out the window from my bedroom and I noticed Jack arriving. Oh boy, there he is! I must say, he looks really handsome. I ran down the stairs as quickly as I dared, not waiting to trip and fall.
"Have fun!" Anna gave me a thumbs up.
"I will." I smiled, opening the door after Jack knocked.
Jack's POV
It didn't even take a second for Elsa to answer the door, that's a new record! I'm starting to wonder if she already knows what's going on. Anyway, oh my god she looks gorgeous. I could have fainted if I wanted to.
"Hey beautiful." I blurted out.
"Hey handsome, shall we be going?" Elsa smiled.
"O-Of course." I walked with her to my car. Holy smokes she called me handsome. Am I really hearing this or not?! This better not be a dream!
"So, care to tell where we're going and what we're doing?" Elsa asked as we got inside.
"Snowflake, it's a surprise." I smirked.
It took roughly 25 minutes to get there. The minute we arrived, there were a whole lot of people. I quickly scanned for the place where they rent boats. There were still plenty, good.
"I'd say, how did you mange to find this place?" Elsa looked around.
"I told you so, it's a surprise!" I held her hand. "Can I interest you in a walk?"
"You don't even have to ask." Elsa gripped my hand a little tighter.
I bought cotton candy and shared it with Elsa. Well, Elsa ate most of it, it was a special, chocolate cotton candy. And she's obsessed with chocolate. Anna's obsession is way past Elsa, she once 'attacked' Kristoff when he brought chocolates for everyone.
"This place is amazing." Elsa took a breath.
"You know what? It's even better with you here." I smiled. And I knew that both of us blushed instantly.
The place was great, it was like a mini amusement park. Kids were running around everywhere, some on bicycles, some on roller blades, some jumping on the bouncy castle. Every time I look at those, that urge of wanting to join them builds up. My childhood inner self activates immediately. But it'll be embarrassing for a teenager.
Many had came for a picnic. Some of them are teens, spending time together romantically. I just pictured them as me and Elsa, happily in love together.
Every now and then I would just check my pocket, feeling for the paper ring. I also looked at watch too, just to remember when to go get on a boat with Elsa, and when the fireworks started. I definitely got Elsa a little suspicious by doing this.
"Are we in a hurry or something?" Elsa asked.
"No, why?" I asked, feeling nervous.
"Cause you kept looking at your watch." Elsa replied.
"Just wanna know what time it is." I said.
"Right..." Elsa nodded unconvincingly.
"Because..." I tried to think. "This day ain't gonna last forever, so I just wanna know how long more I can cherish this moment with you."
"There's still tomorrow." Elsa ruffled my hair.
"Oh tomorrow feels like a lifetime..." I sang horribly.
"You ain't singing." Elsa giggled.
I just smiled and walked over to a bench. We sat down and enjoyed the evening. My arm on Elsa's shoulder.
It wasn't until I glanced at my watch I realised it was time for my plan. Oh dear! Well, I'm 3 minutes late than scheduled, but it'll be fine.
"Come on, let's go row a boat!" I stood up, lending out and to Elsa.
"If we row too slow, I apologise first." Elsa said, taking my hand.
"You don't have to." I grinned, quickly walking to the boats. I rented one and grabbed two oars.
"They're heavier than I expected." Elsa said as she clutched one.
"I can row it." I said. "Ready for a ride?"
The oars were mighty heavy, but the dream on my plan being successful gave me some sort of strength to row easily.
"It's really romantic." Elsa blurted out. "It reminds me of how Punzie and Eugene got together."
Well, we're gonna get together in pretty much the same way... I wanted to say that but I didn't want to blow the surprise. I just nodded and smiled.
I took one more look at the sunset, took a deep breath and turned to Elsa.
"Elsa..." I started.
