Jack's POV
"Hey Jack, wait up!" I turned around, it was Evan.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"I... Hold on..." Evan caught his breath. "Have you finished the physics assignment?!"
"Evan, you know very well that I don't do my homework." I flinched a smile.
"Right. Anyway, I got another question. When are you gonna make your move on Elsa? Literally everyone's been wanting to ask you that." Evan continued.
"Me? Make my move? Uh, haven't I done that? Look at us." I said.
"You two are in love, we know that, I mean, when are you gonna officially ask her to be your girlfriend? Cause everything becomes official when you ask. I can't wait to see that." Evan replied eagerly.
"Oh. Um... I don't know, I didn't think I'd make that far." I chuckled nervously.
"Well, you have, so do it! You two been through a lot, and your love for each other is strong. So, why not?" Evan encouraged.
"Why are you asking me this anyway?" I asked.
"Punzie and Anna made me." Evan shrugged. "Don't get me wrong, I too wanna see the two of you together."
I nodded and fell silent. He's right, when am I gonna ask Elsa? I know that we're happily together and all, but I'm still pretty scared about her answer. Despite Anna constantly convincing me the answer is yes. I don't know why, I've never been this nervous for a girl before.
"Come on or we'll be late." Evan nudged. I nodded again and walked in silence, with my mind racing.
I walked into class and the first thing I saw was Elsa. And, she just looks like, extra beautiful today!
"Someone needs alone time with his girl." Evan smiled and walked away.
So I tried to keep calm and normal and sat beside her. "Hey." I started.
"Morning." Elsa replied.
"You look really nice today." I complimented.
"Thank you. You're not too bad either. But you really ought to comb your hair for once." Elsa said.
"Boys don't need to comb their hair. Just us ruffling our hair is already enough to make it look good." I replied.
"Whatever you say. You have no Idea what's missing." Elsa grinned.
Oh man I just can't resist her, she's just perfect in every way. Elsa's amazing, just the way she is. Hell yeah I wanna ask her, but I'm super nervous! I think I'm gonna have a mental breakdown if I keep thinking about it.
As usual, I didn't pay attention in class. Staring into nothing and thinking about everything. It's as if there were two different voices talking to me.
"Jack, ask her."
"Don't, what if it goes wrong? It could destroy your relationship!"
"Have some confidence in yourself! Isn't this what you wanted?"
"Not everything comes out the way you want it to be."
I tried to snap out of it but I couldn't, stop messing around in my mind! I'm having a terrible headache.
"Stop it!" I shouted loudly without realising, gripping my head.
"Jack?" Elsa asked, worried. "You all right?"
"Are you sick, Jackson?" Mr David asked.
I didn't reply, it was too painful. What I don't understand is where is all this pain coming from?!
"I'll take him to the infirmary." Elsa volunteered. "Come on, easy, Jack."
"If you were sick, you shouldn't have came to school." Elsa advised as we walked to the infirmary.
"The pain was sudden." I replied, still feeling the pain in my head. And to think, I was thinking about Elsa when this happened...
Evan came running. "You ok?!"
"He let you come along too?" Elsa asked.
"Nah, I just said I wanted to go to the wash room as an excuse." Evan replied. "Here I'll help you."
"I can walk." I said sarcastically.
The nurses couldn't see anything wrong with me. No injuries or whatsoever at my head, no fever, no illness. Like, duh! This pain came from two idiot voices in my head.
"I think you'll just need some rest." The nurse said.
"Yeah, all right." I nodded, bored. The nurse always says that. Just get some rest, even when you got a high fever and they don't give you and medicine! Just resting ain't gonna sure all that. These people ain't fit to be nurses. Minutes later, I dozed off against my will. I didn't wanna sleep here!
The sound of the door flying open jolted me awake. I don't think I even have to guess who's that...
I turned and saw everyone. "Hey guys." I sat up.
"You all right? You've been here for about 3 hours." Elsa came forward.
"Yeah, my headache's gone." I nodded. When I see you... Ah those blue eyes are mesmerising.
Eugene gave me some food, sandwiches to be exact. "Good thing Anna made extra to share." He gave a thumbs up to Anna.
"Kristoff loves it, I gotta make more." Anna smiled.
"Hah,you make it sound like I'm the only one that eats the sandwiches." Kristoff scoffed. "We basically finished each other's-"
"Sandwiches." Anna continued.
"So, you all right to go back to class? " Hiccup asked.
"I don't think he would want to." Aster laughed.
"Yeah, it's so much better being here, isn't it? You get to skip classes, your favourite." Merida added.
"You're right." I agreed. "Chilling out here."
"You can't stay here forever." Punzie argued. "The nurses will check you later and they'll tell you to go back."
"So he'll fake his sickness." Evan shrugged.
"Jack's pretty good at that." Tooth nodded. "Back in elementary he used to do that all the time."
"So, should we leave Jack?" Astrid asked. "I mean, the bell just rang and all..."
"You sure you don't wanna come? You're fine enough I think." Elsa said. "Just, it gets a little lonely without you."
Hearing that makes my heart melt. I have no idea why I just thought of that. Just knowing that Elsa think that way makes me feel great.
"All right, I'll come, it's getting lonely without you too..." I grinned.
