Hiccup's POV

Jack has gone mad. Like, really really mad. I just don't understand that kid, one minute he's happy, the next minute he goes all out mad. How could he have reacted that way to Elsa and Evan?!

Ever since that day, Evan visited me a little more often. Well you can't argue with me being Jack's good buddy, Evan often asks about Jack. I for one, don't know how to mend this relationship.

"Hiccup," Evan started. "Jack mentioned something about replacing him for a dare, do you know what he meant?"

"Oh? You don't know about the dare yet? I'm surprised Elsa didn't tell you that." I said. "Well, actually, we were playing truth or dare one night, Anna dared Jack to date Elsa for two months, and Jack-" I paused, I'm not sure whether I should tell him that Jack has a crush on Elsa. Jack wanted this to be a secret.

"And Jack?" Evan repeated. "Jack what?"

"Um..." I panicked, thinking of another answer. "Jack and Elsa accepted the dare. But Elsa was highly annoyed with this dare. She only recently started to act like she liked Jack, cause they were dared to look and act like a couple. But of course, all this is just an act. It ain't real."

I lied, but I guess this lie will last for a while. Jack ain't acting, he's really head over heels for Elsa. But for Elsa? We're still unsure whether she'll love Jack.

"I see. So I guess Jack took this dare super seriously since he was so mad? Oh wait, he was also Elsa's best friend..." Evan sighed.

"I guess he's just not used to your presence yet." I assured him. "Don't worry, just act natural."

"Am I  bothering their best friend relationship? Cause I'm 100% sure of it. Jack spat out a lot about it, saying he's a nobody. Hiccup, I'm really sorry for all this, I didn't mean it." Evan said.

"Jack's just a little... Sensitive." I replied.

Evan's POV

I never thought I would get into so much trouble by moving here! It was supposed to bring joy by seeing Elsa, but now I've totally ruined her best friend's feelings. I feel guilty and awful. I didn't know it would all come down to this. I didn't get Jack's address or even phone number, how am I to apologize to him? I don't want to get his friends to apologize on my behalf, that won't be sincere enough. And right now, Hiccup wouldn't give me info on Jack because he thinks it would make Jack more mad at me if I were to speak to him.

Even worse, I can't believe Jack thought Elsa and I were kissing in the bedroom.  We weren't kissing at all! We were just reliving some childhood games that we used to play when we were kids. We didn't wanna be in the living room so Elsa suggested we go to her bedroom. And I can assure you, no, we were not doing it. I know that Jack misunderstood that we were doing it since we were in the bedroom, my clothes were a mess, and Elsa saying we were playing and fooling around. But he didn't know the truth! Elsa dumped her pillows on me and I fell off the bed followed by the blanket on me. As I couldn't see, I was wobbling around, without realising I went out of Elsa's room. Then someone knocked on the door and I went to get it. Then... Well you know the rest.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the doorbell. Then I heard Hiccup's phone ring.

"It's Jack." Hiccup muttered and answered the call. His eyes immediately went bigger. "Ok, ok, I'm coming." Hiccup said and hung up.

"Oh sorry, did you have plans today?" I asked nervously. I think I have ruined everything now.

"No. But you are in trouble." Hiccup replied quickly. "Quick, get out through the back door! Go around the house till the front door and get your shoes. Jack's here! If he sees you, you are dead meat!"

Before I could protest, since I wanted to apologize to Jack, Hiccup pushed me all the way to the back door.

"Hiccup, let me talk to him!" I argued.

"Don't!" Hiccup snapped.

He slammed the back door shut, leaving me alone. "Hiccup? Just, thanks again!" I said.

"You're welcome! I'll loudly slam the front door so you'll know it's safe." I could hear Hiccup's voice and footsteps.

I quietly went around his house. Just before the turn to the front door, I saw Jack. But Hiccup had already opened the door.

"What took you so long?!" Jack asked.

"You could have at least told me you were coming instead of calling me when you're at the front door!" Hiccup snapped.

"Whatever." Jack said and went in.

The door slammed shut, again. I made my way and took my shoes and ran out. Just before I went into the car, an idea came to me. Why not I wait here, so that I can see Jack? Or maybe I can follow him, so that I know what's his address? Both of that would be considered as spying though. But it's to mend this relationship, I have to do it.

In the end, I decided to figure out where his house was. I'll follow him once he comes out. Don't know how long he'll take though.

*Time skip*

Jack finally came out, excellent! I tried to make it look like I wasn't following his car when I obviously was following his car. I just hope he wasn't noticing it.

When I reached, I quickly wrote down the address. I quickly drove away, trying to make it look like I live here, driving to my house. When Jack had went in, I went home.

All right, with this information I can do what I want. I just hope Jack will accept it.
