{Jelsa} The Dare That Became A Reality

Chapter 30

Jack's POV

So surprisingly I managed to get out of the hospital earlier than expected. Which also means... Gosh I can't skip school today! But, I'm also quite impatient to see Elsa again. I just really wanna know if there's anything with us. At least, the dare is still on, right? All I need to do is cherish it before it all goes away.

So I can't run or walk too fast yet, which is a total burden. I feel more like limping instead of walking slowly. Good news is that I don't need anything to help with my walking.

"Jack!" I turned around, it was Tooth. "Hey! Great to see you're back!" Tooth came running.

"Yeah, feels good." I smiled. "Anyway, you seen Elsa anywhere?"

"Off to see your princess?" Tooth teased. "Yes, I have. She's with Anna, follow me. Need any help?"

"Nope, I'm good." I assured. It was a little hard, but I'll cope with it. It'll take at least a 4 days I think before I can walk normally again.

So walking along the hallway, I was definitely attracting a lot of attention. Everyone was gossiping away. Until I got pushed down from behind. Oof! That hurt!
"Hey!" Both me and Tooth said at the same time as she helped me up. "Seriously, what the heck is your problem, Athena?! Haven't you bothered us enough?!"  Tooth asked. I simply rolled my eyes. Not Athena again...

"Shut up. You practically got what you stupidly deserved for loving that Elsa girl. Hope you liked that, too bad it couldn't kill you." Athena said proudly.

My blood was boiling. How dare she say that! What is wrong with liking a girl? "Watch your tone!"  I shouted.

"That's just plain rude." Someone from the crowd said. Why yes, thank you for that, whoever you are.

"I don't care about how many girls like me, I'm sick of all of you! Every single day, you try to find a way to talk to me, it's not even a very nice way when you try to start a conversation! And look at yourselves! You're going to far with all that stupid makeup, do you really think I would want that? After that, my phone is just about to explode with all these random numbers calling! So girls, I already like another girl, please stop all this! I do not care if she doesn't like me back, I just want all this to stop!" I burst out in anger.

"What. A. Speech." Athena mocked, clapping her hands. "I already told Elsa to watch her back, you have to do so too."

"Whatever, now get out of my sight!"  I angrily turned away and walked with Tooth.

"You ok? Need to go to the infirmary?"  Tooth asked, concerned.

"Tooth, I only fell down! It's not like I'm bleeding or whatsoever." I exclaimed.

"I know that, but the fact you just faced a terrible injury-"

"I'm fine." I cut in and sighed. "And there's the bell. Never mind, let's go to class. Calculus right now, am I right?"

"Yes." Tooth nodded.

So the minute we went into class, as usual, there were a lot of stares. I'm just glad that Athena ain't here. She's been bugging me pretty much ever since I started school! She only bugged more when this dare started.

"Who else in this class?" I simply asked.

"Aster, Punzie, Kristoff, and Merida." Tooth replied, sitting down.

"Wouldn't you rather sit with Aster?" I chuckled.

"Just sit down." Tooth's cheeks were starting to get red in colour.

Elsa's POV

I'm kinda nervous with this. Anna talked her way into me confessing my feelings. As much as I would love to be with Jack, my thoughts betray me. But, I would like to use the dare as an excuse, just to get a little knowledge on all this. I'm sure Jack is still all in for it.

Tooth talked to me about what happened this morning and it is simply unacceptable! What a nerve that Athena has. Tooth accompanied me, I went straight and reported it to the discipline teacher. I don't care, that is unacceptable, even by her standards!

"Troubled?" Evan asked.

"Nah." I shook my head. "You seen Jack anywhere?"

"Off to see your prince?" Evan teased.

"Will you just tell me?" I asked back.

"Looking for me?" I turned and saw Jack behind me. "Hey you two." He smiled.

"Hey." I smiled back. "Great to see you."

Evan sneakily took a couple of paces back, winking at me. Don't leave me alone! I shouted inside.

"So... Are we still on with the dare?"  I put it simple, I can't think anyway.

"Of course, why wouldn't we? A promise is a promise." Jack replied.

"I suppose..." I said.

"About today, thanks a lot." Jack stated.

"Huh?" I asked, confused.

"You went with Tooth to the-"

"Oh that. It was nothing." I accidentally cut in.

"Still, thanks." And with that, Jack planted a small kiss on my cheek. It took me by surprise, but I kinda liked it.

Jack sat down beside me, still grinning. I knew I was either already blushing or starting to blush. Sure enough, I could hear whispers from girls in the class. It's as if they want to gossip about Jack's every single movement, seriously?! I'm glad I'm not like them. 

"Wanna... Hang out?" Jack asked. "You know, for the dare?"

"Sure." I nodded. Guess he's using the dare as an excuse too. I'm not sure if we would even become a couple, to be honest. Maybe both of us just want to try this out, then only decide what's best for the both of us. 

"So, where? I'll just come to your house or something?" I asked. 

"All right, then it'll help with all this homework too." Jack joked. 

I just smiled and tried to look away. Jack looked kinda cute, but it's not that usual cute that I would describe. Yup, I think I'm falling in love, hard.
