Jack's POV

I looked at Elsa right in the eyes, come on Jack, it's the moment of truth. It's time...

"Elsa..." I started.

"Yes?" Elsa asked sweetly.

"I might not be your dream perfect guy. I can't promise to fix all your problems but I can promise you won't have to face them alone. I love you more than a bird loves the morning sun. Every second I'm away from you is a moment wasted. I'm yours forever. You're the last thing I think about before I sleep and the first thing I think about when I wake, and the time between is filled with the longing to be with you. My heart is yours and yours alone. The thought of being with you is what keeps my heart beating. I love you with every breath I take." I pulled out the paper ring and kneeled on one knee.

"Elsa, will you be my girlfriend?"

Elsa's POV

This, is truly the best date ever. It was great with Jack. Actually, the place didn't matter, all it mattered was Jack by my side. And on the boat, I just can't explain it, it was romantic. Until then...

"Elsa..." Jack started.

"Yes?" I asked, Jack looked at me like there was no tomorrow.

With every word Jack said, I could not believe it was happening. It was a sweet feeling of knowing that the man in front of me means so much. With each line I wanted to aww.

Jack's words slowly sank in one by one. I was completely speechless. I put my hand over my heart just to make sure it was still beating. I really didn't know what to reply, but Jack's actions cut my thoughts short. He pulled out something from his pocket and kneeled on one knee. And he presented a blue ring, beautifully decorated with sparkling stones and snowflakes.

"Elsa, will you be my girlfriend?" Jack asked.

Time completely stopped after he asked that question. I starred at him, completely frozen. My mind was having a war.

"I... I, I..." I stammered, my eyes glued on him.

Jack's POV

The instant I finished my confession, an incredible weight was lifted from me. I know it wasn't exactly the best confession, but I couldn't think of much. It felt so great, I meant every word of it. And now for the moment of truth, I asked Elsa.

The way she looked, I guess she was shocked as much as I was. I never thought I would even be able to do something like this, and yet, I'm doing it! But every second that passed felt like forever, waiting for an answer.

"I... I, I..." Elsa stammered. I could already feel the hope starting to drain from my body. I was just about to say something when...

"Yes, of course I will!" Elsa said.

And now, it was my turn for time to completely freeze! My mind was chaos. She said yes? SHE SAID YES?! Say what now?! I tried to be as normal as possible but I knew I was definitely freaking out.

I slipped the ring into Elsa's finger. I cannot believe this is happening! Elsa held up her hand, looking at the ring and at me. I went closer to her and we shared a deep and passionate kiss. We didn't need words at all, we knew what was going on with each other. I could hear people saying aww around us.

As if it was on cue, the fireworks started right after we broke the kiss. They were beautiful with all sorts of colours. I wrapped my hands around Elsa as we looked at the fireworks.

"Thank you." Elsa whispered into my ear. I smiled widely. This was a dream come true.

After the fireworks and all, we had dinner and sat under a tree. Yes, we were still at that place. Even though it was nighttime, there were still many people.

"You know, I still haven't asked you whether you liked the ring." I said to Elsa.

"That's a ridiculous question. I'll love anything you give me. I love you even more." Elsa smiled.

"Great to hear that, cause I'm no expert in jewellery." I chuckled.

"It's really creative and sweet of you to make this origami ring." Elsa said as she touched the ring.

Thanks a lot Emma! I owe you one. I happily nodded. "Anything for my girlfriend."

"I'll make something for you in return." Elsa kissed my cheek. "Anything for my boyfriend."

*Time skip*

As we were heading to my car, ready to go home, I chuckled at the thought of how this relationship started. Thanks Anna, I owe you one too.

"Something funny?" Elsa raised a brow.

"Oh, I'm just thinking about how all this started and how it ended." I replied.

"Anna." Both of us said at the same time.

"And to think that this was supposed to be just a joke, it turned out real." Elsa stated. I nodded in agreement.

"It started with the dare..."

"... That became a reality."
