Chapter: S E V E N

"So basically, you are rumored to be dating Kyoya Ootori, and this article helped those baseless rumors," Grey hummed, her pen clicking against her desk as she remained pensive.

With a long sigh, you leaned back into your chair as you tried to relax, though that proved to be difficult since you had a million things you could be doing but instead you were here at the agency. Yes, it was that time of the month again when your manager held an official meeting in company's headquarters in L.A.. Basically, it was time set apart from your crazy life to discuss anything that had happened throughout the month. On top of that, you exchanged strategies on how to conceal your other life, signed papers, made business deals with other companies and directors, etc. It became mandatory when you made it clear that you would lead a double life at the young age of twelve.

You crossed your arms to show your annoyance. "I knew we shouldn't trust a female hairstylist. All they do is chat away--"

"We chose her because she was cheap and didn't have clientele... It seems that her time with you did the opposite of what we wanted. Instead of loyalty, we received an arrogant and money-hungry woman. Things like this happen. The best we can do is move forward."

"And what do you suppose we do?"

"Get rid of what holds us back," Grey smiled as she dialed a certain phone number and placed the call on speaker phone, allowing you to join in as well. Though you were slightly confused as to who she was calling, for some reason you prayed that it wasn't Kyoya. When the familiar sound of your hairdresser answered the phone, you smirked. "Ah, good afternoon, Cheryl."

"Hi? Is there a new project Miss [Name] needs--"

"Actually, I'm calling to discuss the termination of your services. It seems that you couldn't hold your end of the deal-- where we required secrecy."

"I-- I don't know what you're talking about. I've been loyal to you--"

You scoffed but opted not to say a word. Grey knew what she was doing, and if it were you, this hairstylist wouldn't hear the end of your violent tirade.

"As much as I do like you and would like to believe you, we have strong evidence that you did in fact contact a celebrity blogger about my client's personal life. I do not have the time to continue this conversation as I am sure you have many excuses to plead your case. Thank you for your years of service, and we hope nothing but the best for you."

"Best?"

Grey slammed the phone down, ending the conversation. "Now we need a new one...however, it has to be one that can keep their mouth shut."

The qualities she described rung a bell in your mind. "Actually, I know just the guy," you thought out loud, "I met him at the fashion show. I believe his name was Kevin."

Your manager nodded as she took note of it, "I'll make some calls to find him... Other than that, here are some contracts you need to look over. Some of these commercials are shooting in Massachusetts, along with this movie. Look them over and see if you want them."

You grabbed the large stack of papers, a frown marking your features, "Can't I just do my final paper and then look them--"

"No. You promised that these meetings are only for work."

"Fine," you grumbled as you began reading the first monstrous contract, albeit the highlighted sections of it; you would never finish if you read all the fine print.
