Your mouth went dry. Why does this keep happening?! The shock of seeing Kyoya did more bad than good to your heart. He always made you nervous and blushing like a little school girl, but you felt terrified at the same time.
"Aren't you that actress?" the elder of the group asked sternly, wearing a look as if he was masking his shock.
You blinked slowly as you refrained from answering to buy yourself time. They all recognized you, but they didn't know you came here in disguise. The wig was still in the bathroom, and your clothes were somewhat presentable.
"Yes," you bowed slightly, "I was just using this bathroom."
"A random patient's bathroom?" Kyoya inquired with amusement. "Or do you know him?"
Several excuses arose in your head. You could say this was a surprise meet-and-greet, but dressed as you were and with no hospital staff knowing about the meet-and-greet, the excuse wasn't plausible. You could say he was a distant family member, but then it would be tied to you-- and your complete name was linked as his emergency contact info.
You warily glanced at your brother, who mirrored your look of shock. "Oh my goodness. Is this his room? I must have ran into the wrong room!"
"Woah, is she the actress? I thought it was just some random lady!" your brother added. "C-Can I get an autograph?"
Did acting run in the family? You supposed it did, since you were sold and by the looks of it, so were the others. "Of course, sorry for the trouble!"
You hesitantly walked over, grabbing the notepad and pen beside his bed. You scribbled your habitual autograph before flashing him a bright smile. Your brother continued the charade as tears began to form in the corners of his eyes. "Thanks, Miss! You've made me the happiest kid alive."
If they didn't buy that, they were heartless bastards. (Unbeknownst to you, they were in fact a cold family.) "No problem.. Well, I'll be on my way!"
"I thought she was your girlfriend, Kyoya," one of the three men noted as you were in the midst of escaping.
"Brother, you can't believe the tabloids. She's just a good friend," Kyoya coolly responded as he fixed his glasses.
You subtly inched backwards until you were able to slip out of the room. You wished it was the end of it all, but it wasn't. It was never the end. A hand fell onto your shoulder, and you flinched.
"I am usually informed of everything," Kyoya began, "but I never thought I would see you here."
"I could say the same to you. What are the chances of seeing you here?" you chuckled as you eyed him. "The chances of us meeting in the same room... I'm still dumbfounded."
