How do you sleep when there are people out there killing your brother? You couldn't fathom why your body wanted sleep, and so you laid in your bed awake. You tossed and turned when your body felt uncomfortable, but your eyes were wide open as they aimlessly wandered the darkness of your room. The information that Kyoya had provided you was just too much to process, and you spent every second replaying in your mind what had happened in the car.

You panicked at first, but after a moment of thinking it through, you couldn't help but laugh at him. "Ha! That's the funniest thing I've heard! What are you trying to do? Make me throw out the people I trust and just kneel before you?" you cackled as you slapped his leg.

Kyoya adjusted his frames as his expression darkened. "Stop bluffing, you are more intelligent than that. Now think. Shouldn't your brother have been dead or cured by now?"

Your voice got stuck in your throat. "But... you couldn't possibly be saying that everything I've been working hard for was a lie... That everything I've sacrificed was just for nothing, that it was tool for people to profit from all this time! I--"

Kyoya's hand reached over to slip into yours, and you felt this comforting sensation. You warily looked up at him and noticed that his facade had fallen as well.  There was this tenderness in his orbs, as if he wanted to protect you. But why would he? He hardly knew you. You were just a toy to him.

You blinked a few times, snapping out of your delusional thoughts. Even if he did think of you as a friend, you weren't going to trust him with your personal life, not until you knew he was telling the truth. "Give me the files, and I'll decide myself."

His facade returned and he sent you a polite smile. "Of course." He began typing in his tablet to send you the email with all the evidence. "I warn you though. Do not make anyone aware of what you possess. If they are willing to keep your brother at his deathbed, imagine what they could do when cornered."

"I understand."

He smirked and returned to sending the message. When it was finally sent, he let out a long sigh. "I've sent it to your school email since I doubt your manager has access to that account." The car stopped soon after, and his hold on your hand tightened. "Well, it seems that we are here at your hotel."

"You know where I'm staying?" you gawked, though it shouldn't have been that much of a surprise.

"I know everything."

His comment made you smile. "So what happens if you are telling the truth?"

"One step at a time."

As soon as you arrived to your room, you bolted the doors, changed into pajamas, and began reading the files. Although you didn't know how to read medical charts, Kyoya left many side notes as to what everything meant. The sentiment was kind, but it didn't defeat the horrors of what you read. It seemed that Doctor Stone, your brother's doctor, has been inducing the illness your brother was suffering from. Whatever she gave him was making his digestive system undergo a degenerative health cycle. But that wasn't just it.
