ALEX’S POV
I climbed the stairs to my room and found Jason in there. I reached the door when I saw Jason pull out a white piece of paper from under my laptop. Wait, that was where I put the note. Oh, God. Jason was going to know that I took the note from his locker. I popped my head inside my room and with as much courage I could muster, I asked, “Jason, what are you doing in here?”
“A better question would be is, why is the note Beth gave me here?” Jason asked, his tone giving away that he was undeniably angry, but his facial expression was blank, apart from a slight terrified part.
“Jason, I’m sorry. I just-“ I mumbled, trying to think of something to say.
“Did you read it?” he asked, with the same facial expression as before, but this time he sounded meek, almost as if he was ashamed of something.
“No, I-“ I began, only to be interrupted.
“Good, and never touch my stuff again,” he stated, looking at me, deadpanned in the eye before storming off. I stood there looking at where Jason just was and replayed what had just happened.
I couldn’t care less about what he had said about me never getting to touch his possessions again. I knew Jason well enough to know that was just his anger talking… but he wasn't angry. He was scared. Scared of me reading the note. I walked over to my bed, turning off my laptop and placing it on my desk, and then getting my now melted ice cream to finish. I snuggled under my comforter and took a spoon of ice cream, all while a million thoughts of what Jason’s note could have said, flooded through my mind.

Today, I wasn't awoken by an alarm, and I could get my much needed beauty sleep, due to the three day vacation the students of McCarthy High School got for Valentine’s Day, which was in two days. Of course, I wasn't planning to get a valentine. Valentine’s Day wasn't really my cup of tea – it was all just a bunch of stupid couples acting all lovey dovey and crap. Not to mention, during Valentine’s Day, the PDA was ten times worse than any other time of the year. The couples literally looked like they were trying to suck each other’s faces off. One of the reasons McCarthy decided to give us a three-day vacation.
But, honestly, Valentine’s Day just wasn't for me. Too much fake love or people complaining about how they didn't have a valentine, so Rosie and I had made an anti-valentine’s day-day tradition four years back, where we both met at one of our houses, watched scary movies and ate pizza. Speaking of Rosie, I should probably just stop by her house, since I had nothing better to do on this lovely Wednesday. I finally got out of bed after texting Rosie, and telling her that I was coming over. I walked downstairs, getting myself a nice hot cup of coffee, putting in milk and four spoons of sugar, the way I liked it. I took a sip, satisfied with the taste, and practically gulped down the rest. I was sort of addicted to coffee. It wasn't that bad of a thing though. Coffee didn't really have any affect on me – it just tasted good. I couldn't say that about Mel, though. One sip of coffee, and that girl would be in China in less than a minute. I chuckled at the thought, then headed upstairs for my usual morning routine.
After stepping out of my bathroom in nothing more than my Scooby Doo towel, I put my black with brown highlighted hair, in a high bun. I had decided on wearing a white tank top, white shorts, my black and red Letterman jacket, and paired it off with my black and red Nike’s. I put on my cherry flavored lipstick, lightly brushed eye shadow on my eyelids, not putting too much on – just enough to make my dull light brown eyes to pop out. I did a once over in the mirror, making sure I looked good, which I did. I grabbed the keys to my mother’s car. Her vacation ended today, but she carpooled with a friend so the care was mine for today. ‘I really need my own car,’ I thought to myself, while I was on the road.
