"Ahh" As I tried to turn over I found Bell snuggling me with her long dirty blond hair falling all over her face. All I wanted to do was go to bed, but with my cute little sister snuggling up to me I had to be careful not to wake her. Slowly sliding out of her grasp I pulled her into a hug whilst I started to carry her to bed. Just before I could start going up the stairs Bell began to stir and snuggle into to me even more as she mumble something. Whilst I made my way to Bell's room I started to hum a lullaby to keep her asleep hoping she was having a good dream. Pushing open the wooden door I slipped into her pink and yellow room just before she could wake.

Finally pulling the covers back and slipping Bell into her bed I tucked her in giving her a peck on her head and making sure that I shut the door behind me without waking her. Once I had left I decided to grab a bowl of cereal seeing that it was a Saturday I felt even more tired from having to carry Bell, but mostly from having a crook neck. As I walked into the kitchen and grabbed myself some coco pops and started to munch away as I grabbed my phone checking for any new messages only to find one from an old friend making me quickly reply and wait for his reply back. Finally my phone beeped and I looked to see that he would be in town sometime making me do a little jump at getting to see Toby again.

"Hello." I froze as I heard a familiar voice filled my ear whilst the door bell rang over and over again. Getting up I cleared my bowl into the sink I grumbled as I went to answer the door. The cold handle stung against my skin as I turned the handle letting a rush of cold air flood in and a smirk standing there on the porch.

"Why are you here?" I yawned whilst he came in and leaned against the wall while I practically flopped onto the couch.

"Don't you remember that we had a practice today?" My eyes widen as I suddenly remember I promised him a practice this Saturday which was today. Groaning I sat up and looked into his warm brown eyes.

"Oh well I might as well teach you seeing I nothing interesting to do other than text my friend and look after Bell." My brain was buzzing with what to do when the Bell wakes up and what Jace could do.

"Ok" He was walking into the kitchen just as Liam came down with Bell on his back pretending that he was a unicorn. The way that Bell was holding onto Liam and saying giddy up uni made me clutch my side laughing at how silly he looked. He looked over to me grumbling when Jace walked in with some peanut and jelly sandwich half in his mouth with an apple in his hand.

"So what you been doing Delilah?" Liam wiggled his eye brows at me making Jace chuckle and me sink further into the couch mumbling he was wrong.

"Maybe you should tell him about us." Sitting down I shoved him making his cute chuckle come back while Liam came and sat down across from us on the big old granddad chair that dad used to sit on all the time.

"Delilah." I knew what that tone meant sending a frown on my face making me remember where mum was.

"Me and Bell are going to see mum. Do u want to come? Cause you could bring Jace if you want." Tears sprang into my eyes as Jace looked from me to Liam wanting answers.

"I will. Just I will go some other time and I don't think Jace would want to come." My thoughts wondered to my mum.

"Where is your mum?" I couldn't face telling him what happened.

"No where, Liam I am not going to see her just yet." I said as I got up felling dread fill the pit of my stomach.

"Delilah you have to see her more than you usually do. You can't just avoid it and hardly see her." He started making me stop in my tracks.

"How do you think I feel every time I see her thinking it was my fault for all of this." I shouted as tears started to blur my vision while I turned around and rushed up the starts not wanting to face him even when that day still haunts me. Slamming the door behind me I walked over to my bed and pulled my box of possessions out from under my bed placing them down on the cream colored carpet. My heart was thudding against my chest as I opened the box pulling out memories of my family as my back hit the wall bringing back all the good and bad whilst I sat down. Every picture I ever took of my dad's emerald colored eyes, curly brown hair and the warm loving smile that appeared whenever I saw him even in photos was freshly scanned into my mind making it feel like just yesterday he was here. Picking up the last photo we took as a family I ran my thumb over the pictures just as a single tear fell on their faces. I heard a creak from over to my right whilst I held their picture in my hand. I found myself fingering the necklace reminding me that they still loved me even if it was my fault. There was movement from near the door where I glanced to see Jace walking over to me with a confused looked written on his face.

"My mum is in a coma and my dad is dead." all he could do was mouth 'oh' just before he sat down next to me looking down at the photo. Wiping the tears off the photo I passed it to him as I picked up another photo of me, mum, dad, Liam and Bell down at the beach in waipu playing around as Phoebe's mum took the photo of us having a water fight. A smile appeared on my face whilst I saw dad and mum picking me up getting ready to throw me in. I heard Jace chuckle at the pic of me about to get thrown in making me think of the day even more as I shed a few more tears. The next thing I knew I was leaning on Jace I pressed my face into his chest as his arms wrapped around me letting the tears fall down while he just hugged me sharing the comfort I haven't had since the day it happen.

"I'm sorry I have been bothering you with my crying over something that happened 2 years ago." His eyes changed from the mischievous tough guy into a look of sorrow like he knew how it felt while I looked up at him.

"It's ok I know how it feels to lose someone you love." In his eyes I knew he felt sorrow just as much as I did. He pulled me in closer making me crash into his strong ripped chest as the warmth from him spread cloaking the sadness I felt with a warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach.

"Maybe we should go down stairs be before your brother thinks of the worst thing we could be doing up here." I giggled at the thought of Liam thinking of it with Bell trying to draw on his face. Putting away the box of pictures and hiding my necklace inside my top I looked into his eyes knowing he would never tell anyone made my tummy do a flip from knowing he kind of cared. Closing my bedroom door behind me I followed Jace down stair to practice some guitar just as my phone beeped telling me that Toby would see me in a few weeks making me smile at the text. I knew me and Jace should go down soon or Liam will probably be thinking the worst like my cousin would.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While that was kind of cute and short, but I want to get to a sad moment with Jace and Delilah so he could show he is a nice guy not a person with a big ego like my cousin who might be reading *Waves to Isaac if he get over the fact this is not scary* hope you are liking it right now. Read on. I will update soon probably when I have free time from school and meeting all my family.
 Well three in one day :)
