The sun was bright as I opened the door out into the backyard laughing just as Liam came rushing after me trying to tag me.
"You're not going to catch me Liam!" I shouted running around everything trying to dodged him so I don't get in. Running around I found myself freezing as the tall pohutukawa tree's red wisps lit up in the sun as the green leafs darken in colour. The sky stood crystal clear with only a single cloud sitting in the middle with the sun shining down on us. I felt something push my shoulder making me turn around to see Liam tagging me with a huge smile plastered onto his face as he took off running. I couldn't help but smile as well as I took off running after him into the house where mum's belly stuck out like a sore thumb with my new baby sister inside.
Pulling open the door I rushed after Liam hearing his laughter mixed with mum's humming work its way through the house. I rushed into the guest room hoping to find him there, but what shocked me the most was what I saw. The scene that played out before me was the car accident playing over and over again making my gut wrench at the car crashing sending blood out from dad and making my mother unconscious. Splashes of crimson red lay mocking me on the wreck as I felt tears slide down my face at what I saw making me see it over and over again.
Rushing out of the room I slammed the door shut behind be before I pressed my back against the door sliding down, only to lay my head in my hands. My mind was fuzzy to what happened just as I decided to try and find my way out of here. Once I was standing I wandered around looking for a way put hoping nothing else like that will happen. Finally what looks like an exit appeared in front of me in the shape of a black door. Pushing open the door I found myself blinded by a bright light before I saw a flash of something that appeared to be a stage. Something else appeared in my line of sight making different images flash before me in a rush to show me something. I saw Liam laying there motionless until Eva walks in and him opening his eyes flashing her a smile before she bombards him with a massive hug. Then the image faded to a show with someone singing with the blinding light beaming down on them before a massive applause erupts and the person on stage crushed with a hug from someone. Finally an image of someone running in the rain with terror written on their face filled my mind just before a darkness consumed them leaving me to collapse.
I felt sweat pour down my head at what I had just seen hoping that what ever that was is nothing bad. Pulling the covers off I looked over to my alarm clock hoping I wasn't late. A small smile played on my face seeing it was only 6am a good time to help me relax before I get ready for school and the night of the show.

Once lunch time came round I found myself slighty distant from everyone else as they chatted and rambled on like the usual lunch times.
"Del!" All of a sudden I found myself practically spinning on my heel whilst Phoebe was clinging onto my arm trying to hide from someone or should I say Percy.
"We got you now Phoebe!" I felt the grip on my clothes finally go away as Phoebe started sprinting for the doors out of here whilst Percy continued to chase her as well as Selene. For some reason I just found this funny at how they were acting making me break out into laughter. Clutching my stomach I sat down between Tash and Greg wondering what happen still waiting for the laughter to stop before I asked.
"What happened?" I said inbetween my laughter hoping one of them could explain or just help me out a bit. A sly smile appeared on their faces before they each wrapped an arm around my shoulder widening their smiles.
"Well.." Tash dragged the well along before Greg decided to continue her sentence whilst they finished eachothers sentences.
"If you saw before.."
"They were playing a game of truth or .."
"Dare and then Phoebe and Percy made the game more..."
"Interesting" I suddenly felt suffocted from their one armed hugs and pulled away from them with their sly smiles still playing on their faces. Kind of feeling creeped out I still wanted to know what happened.
"What happened then?" A evil glint flashed in their eyes before they continued completing each others sentences during their story.
"Well the way they made it more interesting was..."
"A playful game of zapping each other. Which ended..."
"With Percy aiming for Phoebe and him..."
"Asking for help to get her..."
"From Selene." Their creepy smiles stayed on their face just before they spoke together in the same tone of playfulness.
"Thus leaving the lover boy to chase after his Juliet with help from a fellow lover" For some reason they both pretended to wipe away a fake tear at what they both just said before they continued to ramble on about Romeo and Juliet and lover and random stuff making me wonder what has gotten into them today. Once the shock of them being dramatic together calmed down I found that Phoebe was running right towards me. Suddenly she crashed into me huffing and puffing out of breath from the sprint, leaving us to fall to the ground in her crazy effort to stop.
"Well my darling sister if it isn't the lovely Juliet"
"Ah it is my dashing brother, but wait here comes her wonderful lover" My mind was spinning as to when these two became such loving siblings and bothered to talk together in an old fashion way.
"Ah Romeo!" They shouted together as Percy came rushing round the corner huffing and puffing from chasing Phoebe. Looking over to Phoebe I shook my head towards Natasha and Greg hoping she is thinking the same thing as me and that they are both crazy. At that moment we broke out laughing at that little thought before we got onto our feet dusting off the dirt that had gathered from our fall. A rustle in the bush came as something popped out from behind Greg and Natasha making them squeak at Selene jumping out at them. A smile returned back to their lips before they continued the silly act of being twins and speaking together in union. Finally brushing off all the dust I made my way over to them just as Selene plopped down beside Greg.
"Ah if it isn't my lover." Greg announced still having his arm on Tash's shoulder.
"Well if it isn't the lovely Selene" Tash announced at the same time making us laugh at their silly act.
"When have you two been son into being buddy buddy and twinly" Their sly smile appeared on their faces before a more playful on appeared.
" Well the reason for this is that..."
"We hardly ever do this and..."
"Cause of the concert..."
"We thought why not have a little bit of fun" Their smiles widened at their explanation before I realized the concert was creeping closer. Slipping on a fake smile I watch the fun of my friends continue as mine stopped making me think back to Jace wondering what he is doing. Soon enough the bell rang signalling for 5th period and the last class before me, Natasha and Phoebe had to get ready for the concert.
Once the final bell of the day rang I found myself turn into a zombie walking among the living trying to find my way out of the hallway and to the car park where they would be waiting for me. I sensed them before I spotted them knowing what I had to do leaving me to slip on a fake smile and pretend I was happy about tonight.
"Hey Del, you ready to play tonight?" I watched as Phoebe climbed in flipping the radio on always calling shit gun whilst Tash climbed ready to head to my house to get ready for the concert. I kind of felt cold in the back by myself , but before I knew it I was slipping on my lavender knee high dress with only one midnight black sleeve flowing down to my wrist, a beautifully plated side plat with a few pearls fitted into it and a pair of black high heels to finish the outfit. Turning to face Natasha and Phoebe I saw tears in their eyes as they looked at me before they rushed over to hug me.
"Aww you look so beautiful!" They sang in union before they laughed at what they just did. My mind flickered on a bit as I looked at how beautiful they looked with Phoebe's lovely ginger locks dangling freely into curls with her knee length shaded blue dress with a special pattern woven onto the front and back holding it together with her golden high heels. And Natasha looking stunning with her pale orange mid thigh dress only have a on shoulder strap coloured black leaving her lovely hair to be hanging freely in its midnight black look leaving the dress to stand out more and her pale pink heels to show.
"You guys look lovely" I smiled at them before we grabbed our bags and headed back to the car wondering where all the time had gone. Once we made it there we walked their laughing and joking about random stuff like normal before we were ushered back stage by some other students helping out before I wandered away from them and the other group before they noticed me and found my way to the auditorium. Music from the other groups played on telling me the concert had already started making me wonder what it looks like. My hands shook as I wiped the sweat off them just before I reached for the golden handle. The cold metal stuck to my hand as I pushed the doors open leaving a bright light to blind me telling this was a whole new world.
