Chapter 10

Jace's Pov

Pulling up to Delilah's house I smiled at the thought of the guitar lessons with her. Over the past few weeks I learnt she wasn't all that bad from when we first meet and the day she punched me in the nose and the day she set my throat on fire from the dinner, but the day I picked her up in the rain I saw that she has many sides to her. Even her sister is ok, but Nico is the kid with the big attitude towards any one that tries to take Bell because he has a big crush. You could so tell from how he acted with her that he had a crush on her while she plays any game she wants as he follows with a goofy expression.

Walking up the steps I knocked on the old wood door whilst I rang the door bell over and over again. I heard a shuffling towards the door with some grumbling as the door swinged opened letting a cold breeze hit her in the face making me smirk. It was fun to see her little annoyed face from me ringing the door bell over and over again making me snicker at her expression.

"What are you doing here?" she yawned whilst I came in and leaned on the wall looking at her bright violet eyes while they followed me a bit confused on why I was here as she flopped on the couch. I found myself looking around for something to do before I answered her just before I spotted The Lion King 2 paused on the TV with the Simba and his daughter together making me think back to the last time I watch any Lion king movie.

"Don't you remember that we have a practice today?" Her eyes widen probably from remembering while she groaned looking into my eyes making my smirk widen.

"Oh well I might as well teach you seeing I nothing interesting to do other than text my friend and look after Bell." I watched her as she processed whatever she was thinking with a slight dazed look on her face making me smile at her silly behavior over the past few weeks just before I turned my thoughts back to the TV whilst my mind thought of other things.

"Ok."I shrugged just before I got up to feed my growling stomach with some food from the kitchen while I left Delilah to sink away into the couch thinking random stuff in her dream world. When I felt the cold hard granite tiles beneath my feet I shuffled towards the cupboards and peered in looking for some bread to make me a sandwich to feed the beast. I pulled out all the ingredients before I finally finish my master piece and cleaned up the area of my mess. Note to self don’t try to use the tap to clean spoons again I reminder myself just before I left the kitchen.

"Peanut butter and Jelly." I mumbled to myself as I munched on my sandwich while I grabbed an apple walking out of the kitchen. When I walked into the lounge I saw Bell jumping up and down clutching Liam shouting 'giggy up uni' making me grin.

"So what you been doing Delilah?" Liam said as he wiggled his eye brows making me chuckle just before I sat down next the Delilah whist she sank further into the couch mumbling making a slight smile appear on my face.

"Maybe you should tell him about us." I suggested wiggling my eyebrows at her just before she shoved me making me laugh at her reaction. Once Liam had sat down the mood had changed sending us into an awkward silent’s.

"Delilah." A frown appeared on her pretty face once Liam had said her name making me shift in the uncomfortable silent’s just before Liam spoke again.

"Me and Bell are going to see mum. Do u want to come? Cause you could bring Jace if you want." My stomach twist just as much as my brain from the question making me look from Delilah to Liam just making me even more confused at their expressions.

"I will just go some other time and I don't think Jace would want to come." Looking at her face I saw a flash of sadness appear in her eyes at the mention of her mum just as she tried to think of something else.
