Chapter 23

The lights finally stopped blinding me and what I saw amazed me. The seats were filled with an arrange of different people while a different arrange of bands that went on stage playing different songs. Watching the band on stage right now I hummed as they played Still into you by paramore with huge smiles beaming on their faces. I knew this would be big, but I never thought that it would be like this.

"Hey Del, why you ditch?" I turned to see Tash running after me with Phoebe in tow. After they had finally made it to where I was they looked stunned at how the set up of the concert was before they pulled me back to the waiting area.

"God Del, don't run off like that" Nodding to what Phoebe said I sat down next to them and listened to the songs that were being played by all the different acts going on. Each song was different from the last as Waiting all night, Ho hey and Impossible had so far been played making some time pass as they also added in the acts from the other classes to keep people entertained during the breaks. Bored from sitting here and listening I ended up going back and watching from the back instead and with Phoebe and Natasha.

"So Tash anymore interesting news?" She blushed at that sentence whilst we walked to the back of the auditorium watching as a group just finished their song People like us by Kelly Clarkeson and the host came on sprouting out random words.

"Ok the people up next is a different style of students for this show. Here they are a group that like to be called the Highs" I chuckled at the name of the group from the other music class while the group walked on stage looking like they were actually high. The lead singer walked up to the mic with his scraggly black hair hiding under a loose beanie, a plaid shirt all messed up with loose jeans and black vans shoes. His other buddies practically looked the same as him, but they had their own styles to their high looks. 

"Hi ya people I am Kaliem the lead singer for this bunch and we are going to sing Pumped up kicks by Foster The People. Hope you like" He flash a smile at everyone before they started singing the song making me hum along.

Robert's got a quick hand.

He'll look around the room, he won't tell you his plan.

He's got a rolled cigarette hanging out his mouth, he's a cowboy kid.

Yeah, he found a six shooter gun in his dad's closet hidden with a box of fun things.

And I don't even know what but he's coming for you, yeah, he's coming for you.

Dad – he works a long day.

He'll be coming home late, he's coming home late.

And he's bringing me a dark surprise.

'Cause dinner's in the kitchen and it's packed in ice.

I've waited for a long time.

Yeah, the sleight of my hand is now a quick-pull trigger.

I reason with my cigarette

And say, "Your hair's on fire, you must have lost your wits, yeah."

During the song I found myself nodding my head along to the song later on making me realise they are pretty good for some highs. A beeping sound beside me made me jump as Natasha pulled out her phone taking a quick glance at it before excusing herself to do something. 

"Hey Phoebe, do you know what that was about?" She just shrugged her shoulders knowing nothing like me just as a high pitch noise filled the auditorium and the music stopped. After getting over the shock of the high pitched sound we looked towards the stage we noticed the guy called Kaliem had stopped the host before he started to talk.

"Well that's a end to our show, but I have one more song to sing." Suddenly the tune of wheels on the bus caame on and Kaliem started to sing.

"Oh we are making triangles, triangles, triangles. We are making triangles all day long. We are making triangles, triangles, triangles. We are making triangles all day long." I found me and Phoebe laughing at what was happening as they dragged him off the stage bringing the song to a stop. Finally stopping we watched as the host came back onto the stage dusting off his tux ready to continue the show.

"Well that was unexpected and interesting. Up next is a come back group that I heard about from some random, but here they are 3 Wishes with Phoebe Mars, Natasha Van and Delilah Mortis." The roar of the crowd made me shake at to having to go on stage as the thoughts of everything came rushing back at me making me wish Liam and Bell were here. We quickly made it back stage ready to go on when all of a sudden I heard a cute little giggle echo into the room before I spotted Bell rush into the room running over to me giving me a huge bear hug followed by Natasha.

"Bell, What are you doing here?" She smiled up at me before I noticed Eva walk in holding hands with someone. I saw his bob of dirty blond hair walk into the room before I saw his warm brown eyes connect with mine. Tear were rushing down my face and I rushed over to him pulling him into a bear crushing hug so happy to see him again letting go of Eva's hand.

"Liam" I sobbed happy that he was finally awake before I pulled away looking at him with a smile beaming on my face noticing a happy go lucky Toby behind him smiling at me before he peck Natasha on the check. 

"It's ok Del. You can go on stage now but I just wanted to be here to see you play." He smiled down at me wiping away the tears just as I heard our call to go on stage to perform. Phoebe passed me a tissue to clean up the tears just before we got on stage ready to perform. Finally having the tears gone I gave Liam one last hug and wiggled my eyebrows at Toby making him blush before we rushed on stage having the lights blinding us and my heart beating fast hyped to play again. The roar of the crowd filled my ears and made my smile widen happy at where I am.

Well here is the next chapter. Not sure what to think of it, but I may end up editing or changing this chapter. Also the triangle song with the high guy Kaliem was made for my friend because during math he would always sing that which bugged me and my friend, but it was funny.
