Chapter 18 - Delicious Dreams

"You look amazing," Anthony said in his slow, soft voice, looking deep into my eyes, like he often did.

We were sitting on a picnic rug, under the stars on a midnight picnic date. Anthony had just admitted that he loved me, and my heart was racing at what I was sure was an unhealthy rate. But I loved it all the same.

HE LOVED ME BACK!!!

I blushed at his compliment, looking down at the rug and smiling shyly.

Suddenly my chin started to tingle, as he carefully lifted up my head to look at him.

"Don't be embarrassed about what is true," he said, his eyes comforting and his hand on my chin sending tingles throughout my body.

Then he started to move, leaning in towards me, his eyes focused on my lips, softly smiling at me. Closer and closer he came and faster and faster my heart went, love pulsing through me. I closed my eyes lightly, and started to move towards him too.

He was about to kiss me!!!!

And it would be my first kiss too.... What a guy to have it with. And to think when I met him, I couldn't stand him... but now....

I could practically feel his breath on me, he was so close, and I waited for that magic moment when our lips would make contact.......

closer......

closer.....

Only millimetres separating us...

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!!

I groaned as my alarm clock cut selfishly through my amazing dream.

"So close!" I mumbled to myself, before rolling over and rubbing my face with disgust at the early hour of the morning.

Slapping my alarm clock, I let out another groan as I realised what day it was.

It was my first day in 6th form.

Oh joy.

After a few minutes, I heaved myself out of my warm, comforting bed and stumbled over to my wardrobe.

This 6th form was non-uniform, which presented the huge problem of what to wear. Uniforms were so much easier!!!

I quickly decided on some skinny jeans which looked alright on me, and a T-shirt that had a glittery heart on it with a padlock over it. Underneath it said "true love access only".

Grabbing my jacket from the wardrobe, I quickly made my bed, before leaving my jacket with my bag on the middle of the duvet.

Turning around, I looked at myself in the mirror, and rolled my eyes. However, unlike many girls, I didn't put on any makeup, as always.

I don't believe in it, it's demoralising that you have to change yourself for people to like you, and I can't use it anyway! Instead, I ran my brush through my hair, before heading out into the corridor.

"Morning sleepy head," I heard someone say, and I looked up to see the smiling face of Louis.

"How can you possibly be happy?" I moaned. "Not only is it an inhuman hour, but it's the first day back at school, and not only that, but a completely new school for me."

Louis still grinned at me as we walked down the stairs together.

"Nothing?" I said, looking for any signs of pity.

He shook his head, still grinning.

I rolled my eyes and walked into the kitchen. Smiling at the sleepy kids around the table, I grabbed two bowls and spoons for me and Louis, while he grabbed some glasses, and we sat down opposite each other at one end of the table.
