(I just want to say thank you so much Elinorrr for the suggestions for the story ideas and this chapter is by help of you! I also want to thank all of my readers! I've reached 3.5k!!! )
A few days after the unfortunate day, Ollie's diagnosis of post traumatic stress was dismissed but he kept noticing worrying signs from Zosia. She was staying up late, speaking quickly but sometimes without meaning and the most worrying thing of all was her recklessness. As much as Ollie wanted Zosia to hold their daughter, he knew he couldn't risk it. Ollie had informed Guy who was in the process of sorting out her medication but what Ollie couldn't understand was what brought the sudden bipolar attack on.
Ollie's POV
I walk over to Zosia who is in a really bad mental place and sit next to her holding her hand. Her glass like Autumn brown eyes stare into mine like she doesn't know me. Her breathing rapid and shaken. I try to talk to her but her head tilts and stares away thinking about the DNA of a speckled chicken egg compared to that of a plain egg. She's trying to figure out the similarities between chicken egg DNA samples to cancer patients- don't ask why. I replace my warm gentle hand onto hers but she shakes me off. Repeating my actions, I try to soothe talk her and calm her down. I try to reason with her and tell her that she is ill but it is no use and then she tells me she hates me and that she wants a divorce. She stands up and stands throwing ornaments and pieces of furniture around the room. I beg for her to sit down and talk but she screams at me and she runs to find Cara. On her way she finds one of the most precious things that I own lying on the table. Devilishly, she snatches it and begins to stroke the glass bowl. All of a sudden she smashes it on the floor and it simultaneously shatters into millions of pieces. The last item of Tara's destroyed in a single heartbeat. I can feel my lungs come to my throat and the anger starts to rise. I stand up straight ready to shout but then I take another glimpse at my wife. At the beautiful woman I married.
"She's ill." I remind myself as I watch her realise what she has done. Miraculously, all of the anger fades like the sun on a winters night. She begins to cry and I immediately rush to her aid and rub her back. She tells me she's so sorry and wishes that she hadn't done what she did. I accept her apology and tell her it was an accident and that she is ill. She nods and her head starts to fall into my chest. My muscles relax as I cradle her in my arms. I watch her as she falls asleep like the beautiful angel she is.
End of POVZosia's POV:
I wake up in my bed and look to the right of me where my clock is. My eyes widen when I read the time. I jump out of the bed and quickly begin putting my clothes on. Halfway down the stairs, I realise that Ollie is still sitting in the lounge.
"Ollie?"I call as he turns around,"What are you doing here? Aren't we going to be late?"
Ollie explains again that I am 'not well' and that I need to rest. Then it dawns on me. I'm having a bipolar episode. Reluctantly, I get into bed and start sleeping again.
End of POV...Hope you enjoyed this update. I have tried to use POVs which I haven't really used before. Thank you Elinorrr for the idea for the bipolar episode.
