Zosia was rushed into surgery to try and save her legs. She managed to regain consciousness but she was shortly after put under anaesthetic and wheeled into theatre. Ollie was still in a hysterical state and Dom and Arthur were trying to calm him down. They had never seen him like this.
"She.. She can't die... She has our son and daughter. She has me... She can't join Tara. I need her." Ollie cried.
"Oliver. She's going to be fine. They're just fixing her leg. She'll probably just be in for a few nights for obs and then she can come home." Dom explained.
"..and.. You won the lottery." Arthur hopped on a bit nervous on how to proceed. After calming down slightly, the boys carried on talking to him to distract him from Zosia's surgery.
"So... How's being a consultant going?"
Dom asked awkwardly.
"Good. Great being able to boss everyone around and especially Zo..sia..." Ollie started saying before he remembered all the malarky he had got up to with his wife in the ward. Dom and Arthur were very empathetic.
" ...you won the lotto, what you gonna do with it?" Arthur asked.
"Well I'm gonna divide it equally between who put money in and then we're either gonna get a bigger house or extend. Zosh has been begging me for a new kitchen extension. She wants to feel 'connected with the outside' as she says." Ollie smiled to himself.
Excusing himself, he left to the corridor.
Even though he had been in a works night out, he decided to speak to his children who were being looked after Robin- their babysitter who also worked in the ED.
"Hello sprites." Ollie exclaimed trying to sound cheerful to his 3 year old daughter and 5 months old son.
" Hello daddy." Cara said kissing the phone in Robins hands.
"Hello honey. Sorry for waking you up. Mummy and I aren't coming home today- we're having a big adventure. Like in the book you're reading? So please could you be well behaved for Aunty Robin for me? And look after your brother. Love you bye.." Ollie concluded blowing a kiss. Cara returned the gesture before hanging up. Ollie signed and sank deeper into his chair. He loosened his trousers and unbuttoned his shirt slightly.
"One wink couldn't hurt?" Ollie thought to himself. Soon enough, he was fast asleep.Sorry for a cringy disappointing chapter. Just don't know where I'm going with this story. Thanks to everyone who has been reading but I think this story can't go much further. I will write another Zollie FanFiction soon. Don't worry though, I will finish this storyline before ending. At least another five chapters.
