Long chapter! Who's excited for Anna's POV!!?

Anna's POVHe came at me, quick and as feral as a wild animal. He looked like one too. His bright hair was sticking up in mussed spikes, his eyes glowing with an emotion I couldn't decipher.
He jumped to the left, making me turn my attention there. And, as if he had the ability to time travel, he moved so fast in between time, I couldn't even see a blur. He'd move to his next position - on the right side of me, getting closer and closer as he zigzagged his way to me. My head would follow his movement because my body was frozen. I would glance left to right, left to right, and then back again.
Finally, when he had seemed to appear out of thin air, right in front of me, did I react. I jolted, confused and scared. The most trouble I had on this job, ever since I 'became' a reaper, was when a snobby rich boy wouldn't come with me after he had overdosed on expensive drugs on a party in his yacht. Sure their souls were just little blue, floating orbs, but they still had a conscious to them. And some of those blue lights sure had a mouth and attitude on them as well.
"How?" He asked abruptly, his voice raspy and deep, not human or animal-like. It was almost exactly the way you pictured a demons voice to be. "How did you..."
"Incubus...listen to me. Please calm down." I tried to reassure him. It was like dealing with a cornered animal.
"Explain." He said, his voice returning to normal. It was still raw and deep, but, it was his obnoxious voice once again. I liked it better like that. "Now!" He yelled when I stared at him blankly.
"I - I..." He was scaring me. Ever since I had opened my eyes again - when I thought I never would - and transformed into the reaper I was right now, I had never been scared. I thought that now, since I was already dead - and in charge of the dead - that nothing could harm me. And, if nothing could harm me, then I had nothing to be afraid of. But, this was Incubus we were talking about. He was...different. Well, more different than a demon could get from his other...'fellow' demons.
"Right. Now." He said through gritted teeth. "Or, you can just come take a walk down to Hell with me. And I'll make sure you stay there this time."
"But I didn't go to Hell." I snapped back, despite in the precarious position I was in. I wanted to tell him everything I went through after he...he killed me. He had finally gotten his wish, yet the universe decided to get back at him. I'm glad that whoever ruled this world wanted that. I would give Incubus sweet revenge.
"What - "
"After you...killed me, I floated through nothingness. It seemed like a thousand years that I floated between blackness, coming and going out of consciousness. It felt like shït. It was terrible. And you...you put me through it." I said through gritted teeth, my mind flashing back to the empty pictures of darkness. "Then...I felt as if someone had grabbed hold on my hand. They - whoever, or whatever they were - bought me to a light. I know it sounds cheesy, but that's what happened." Incubus stared at me, his red eyes unblinking as he listened intently. I had noticed that the anger that had resonated from them had disappeared. It was only a flicker, a burning ember in the pools of his eyes. He looked so much better when he was calm, and not trying to kill something.
"When I opened my eyes, I was surrounded by...faces. I couldn't tell who they were because everything was so...weird. I was still in a unusual state between consciousness and unconsciousness - so that's why I didn't register everything clearly. All I know is that there were faces looking down at me, and someone was speaking to me."
I glance down at my feet, shoving my hands into pockets. I felt cold and burdened. As if this 'rebirth' story was something that was meant for me to keep to myself.
