It was finally the end of the day, which turned out to be pretty ok actually. Turns out I had lunch with most of my friends and a couple of classes with them as well.

Now, I was focused on getting home to catch up on my favorite tv show. Usually Zack, Zoe, Jake and I would hang out after School but I wasn't really in the mood today so I decided to catch a ride home with Louis.

I was walking to his car not really paying attention to where I was going, when i bumped into someone.

"Oh sorry. " I said looking up at the person I just hit. Sweet baby Jesus, look at that jaw line.

"No problem, was my fault too actually." He smiled down at me.

Blue eyes. Oh god why did I have to have a thing for blue eyes. How could I not though, they're so pretty they're like little bubbles of water. Right focus lucy focus.!

"Would you happen to know where the main office is? I'm new and I came to pick up my schedule for tomorrow" He asked. So that's why I'd never seen him before.

"Yeah, yeah just go in through that set of doors and the first door to your right would be it. " I gave him the directions.

"Thanks, sorry I didn't catch your name... " He said.

"Lucy" I informed.

"Dylan. " He smiled.

"Well it was lovely meeting you Lucy. I'll see you around? " He asked. Oh I would hope so.

I nodded in response and continued my journey to Louis car.

I found him already standing there with a smirk plastered on his face.

"What?" I asked a frown appearing on my face.

"Who was that? " He asked a bit too excited. I simply shook my head, of course he'd get excited over me talking to a guy that isn't Zack or Jake.

"New kid. " I replied to his question. He nodded in response. He knew this was a bit of a touchy subject for me.

It's been around six month's since I last talked to a guy as more than a friend. I'm aware that most brothers are overprotective over their sister's. Trust me Louis is one of those guy's, but I guess he thought I'd be over my last relationship by now.

In a way I feel like I've disappointed him. Mainly because I'm not letting him be that overprotective brother he was months back.

"Hey Luce it's cool of we wait for Monica right.? " He mumbled. I furrowed my eyebrows at him kind of confused at his question.

"Luigi since when do you ask me if I'm cool with that? " I laughed at his question. He rolled his eyes at my nickname for him and cracked a smile.

"And then guess what baby!? " the wicked witch of the west , Monica, screeched.

Louis thought it would be a good idea for Monica to come over and spend the afternoon with us. Which completely ruined my plans to catch up with the new season of American Horror Story. One because she doesn't like scary stuff and two because she just wouldn't shut up for more than two seconds.

"What sweetheart." Louis mumbled clearly realizing this was a bad idea.

"Turns out I wasn't supposed to be put in that class it was just a typo!!!" She practically yelled. At this point I was praying the ground would swallow me up.

"Well it was lovely spending the afternoon with you guy's but i gotta go do some homework." I lied. I expected Louis to say something because no one got homework on the first day, but to my surprise he didn't.

I made my way up to my room feeling really tired all of a sudden. I changed into some sweat pants and a baggy t-shirt and lied down on my bed.

I thought about how Louis seemed a bit excited when he saw me talking to Dylan. Maybe not dating for six months and closing myself off from everyone wasn't my best idea. Maybe the guy I'm trying to get over, didn't think twice about getting over me.

Maybe it's time for me to move on.
