• Chapter 25

Niall's pov

"I'll see you around then. Bye Niall." She spoke as she stopped the car in front of my house. "no don't say that" I groaned.

"Ok.. I won't see you around then? " she asked clearly confused.

"No no" I started "I want to see you again definitely it's just that usually when you say that , days go by without hearing anything from you. " I rambled.

She let out a small nervous chuckle "and that worries you? " she asked.

I looked at her to see if she was actually being serious "Yeah little bit yeah " I replied.

"Why? " she asked. Why are you making this so complicated for me Lucy? Just say you'll see me on Monday at school or let's make plans for tomorrow or anything but not 'I'll see you around'.
"Well because I like spending time with you." I replied after having that ramble with myself. That was partly true but I just didn't want to spend time away from her any longer. Seven months was more than enough time. Time that wasn't even needed.

"Ok Niall I'll see you at school " She tried again holding back a smile. Darn I was hoping she would want to make plans for tomorrow."That's better, I'll see you Monday cupcake." I smiled getting out of the car. She groaned before I closed the car door.

"Don't call me that" She yelled out the window. I rolled my eyes at her. When will she understand that I'll still call her that no matter how many times she tells me not to.

"Mum I'm home. " I yelled as soon as stepped inside. No response. I figured she wouldn't be here her car wasn't parked outside but she would of hit me up side the head if I walked in without letting her know it was me. I sighed walking over to the fridge. Not really hungry mainly just bored.

I shut the door not finding anything good to eat. I walked up to my room not having anything else to do and turned on some music. I laid down on my bed getting lost in my thoughts.

Today honestly couldn't have gone any better. I woke up next to the only girl that I'm crazy for. We cuddled on top of that. Went out for breakfast and then to the park.

The hours we spent at the park were amazing. We walked around talking nonsense. At one point a little kid came up to us and gave Lucy a balloon and told her she was 'very pretty'. The small kid then turned over to me and told me he wished he had a girlfriend as pretty
as mine. His compliment made me chuckle and Lucy blush furiously. She obviously didn't want the kid thinking that so she corrected him in a heartbeat.

After Lucy telling denying us dating he turned over to me and tugged at the end of my jacket and whispered in my ear 'you should make her your girlfriend she's to be pretty not to be.'

It's amazing how even a six year old kid thinks we should be  together  and he didn't even know us.

"Niall I'm home turn that music down" I heard mum's loud voice over the loud music. I obeyed her request and turned the music off instead. I walked out my room and down the stairs and made my  way towards her.

"Goodness Niall what happened to your eye?" She asked dropping the grocery bag on the counter and rushing over to me. Oh right I had completely forgotten about the little incident that happened last night.

"It's nothing mum" I replied, her hands making their way to touch my eye.

"What do you mean it's nothing? You tell me what happened this instant." She said trying to keep her self collected. I don't understand why she's making a big deal whatever happened already happened there's no point in worrying about it.

"I got in a small pointless fight but I'm fine." I assured her. She stayed silent just scanning my face to try and detect a lie. "Alright Niall just please don't be going around doing stupid stuff ok?" She spoke. I nodded and kissed the side of her head. "Don't worry mum." I told her.
