• Chapter 18

Lucy's Pov

I woke up with a banging a headache and the scent of cologne next to me.

The memories from last night began flooding back from how drunk I got to coming here. There are a few thing's however that I don't quite remember.

I tried to turn over to look at Niall without waking him. At my movement his hand tightened it's grip around my waist scooting me closer to him.

I looked at him taking in the way he looked while he slept. For a moment everything seemed alright. It wasn't though, the truth was that I wasn't supposed to be here.

I tried unwrapping his arm from my waist but failed and earned a mumble from him.

"Stop cupcake" He mumble again closer to my ear.

"Niall we have to get up" I tried again. He grabbed the comforter and put it over his face as he grumbled a no.

"Fine. " I sighed making an attempt to leave the bed. He grabbed onto my arm and pulled me back down.

"Niall " I whined. He only scooted closer to me and rested his chin on my shoulder.

"Let's stay here all day" He whispered. I closed my eyes as his hot breath hit my neck. I would love that.

"Please, I'll wear that leather jacket you said you liked" He pleaded, a hint of amusement laced on his voice.

"What? " I asked confused.

"Why'd you have to wear that stupid leather jacket Niall. It looks so good on you and that girl got to dance with you it's not fair. " He said in a high pitched voice. The conversation came back to me. I cringed at what I said and covered my face with my hands. Niall laughed at me earning a slap on the arm.

"Hey you said it" He said continuing to laugh at me.
I glared at him and wiggled free from his grasp around my torso.

I walked over to his ensuit bathroom to wash my face and well use it. When I walked back in the room I noticed Niall was already up from the bed.

"I should get going" I informed him. His head snapped towards my direction with a frown on his face.

"Stay for breakfast? please" He asked with that look on his face he used to get what he wanted.

"Yeah sure" I breathed out. I was glad he asked me to stay because if after this everything was going back to normal we could at least make this last.

"Good. " He smiled and nodded. He came up to me and grabbed my hand he gave it a squeeze and led the way downstairs. As much as I wanted this I couldn't let myself get to enthused about it. By tomorrow it'll be like this never happened.

"Here take these while I make pancakes" He said handing me two pills and a glass of water.

"Thanks" I said taking them from him. After five minute's of just sitting there I began to get bored.
"Can I help with anything? " I asked him going over to stand next to him. He told me what to do and after fifteen minute's we were sitting across from each other eating pancakes.

"These are really good. " I mumbled with a mouth full.

"Thanks " He smiled feeling accomplished.

"I should probably get going" I said after a short silence.

"Right" He frowned. I went upstairs to get my stuff and Niall went outside to start his car.
I came downstairs to find Niall pacing around by the front door.

"You alright over there?" I asked startling him.

"Yeah yeah " He sighed running a hand through his flat hair.
