~Lucy's pov~

"Please" Jake continued begging us. He insisted on all of us going to some house party one of his friend's invited him too. I hated house parties but I agreed on going because I didn't want to spend my Friday night in. Especially not alone. Being alone leads to me thinking and me thinking leads to me thinking about Niall. I didn't want that.

" I already told you Jake I'll go. " I shrugged. Zoe gave me a sceptical look. She's been annoying me to tell her what happened on my getaway with Niall. I however -being the smooth person that I am- have been avoiding answering her. I'm not ready to talk about it yet. As far as I'm concerned that memory is locked up in a little box and was pushed to the very back of my mind. The very very back.

"Yeah we'll go as well." Zoe joined in, volunteering Zack to go. Dylan just nodded as a response.

"Cool so we'll go home get ready and we'll meet back here. Good with you? " He asked. We didn't really have much say though since he already had everything figured out. We all nodded in a agreement.

"We'll be back in an hour Lu" they said as they walked out of my house. Once the door was shut I collapsed onto my couch face first.

A few moments later I heard the front door open and shut "You alright there? " my brother asked.

"Dandy. " I replied, sitting up.

"Hey lou? We're going to a party wanna come? " I asked. I was hoping he would agree on coming that way I can just come home with him instead of spending the night at Zoe's.

He scanned my face for a small moment and if he hadn't replied I would of thought he forgot what my question was "Yeah why not " he shrugged.

A smile appeared on my face "Great" I yelled, shaking his shoulder.

"What time we leaving?" He asked.

"an hour. " I informed running up to my room.

I was sat across from my mirror flat ironing some crazy pieces of my hair.

It hadn't been an hour yet but I was about done with getting ready. I decided to go with a short red dress -that I believe I stole from Zoe- and some black flats. I was planning on heels instead but I decided against it. It was just a house party after all. I was taking a risk and not wearing a jacket. I say it's a risk because it's the middle of November in Chicago. The dress did have long sleeves though so that helped a bit, not really.

I walked out of my room and went down the stairs to find Louis in a white printed t-shirt and black jeans.

"Woah it's a good thing I'm coming." He said once he noticed my precense.

"Thanks. "I said more like asked.

He shook his head "You know I don't think you should wear that Lucy it's a little too grown up for you. We still have ten minutes before we have to leave you can go change" he rambled on.

I stared at him until he was done. Then I burst out laughing "I'm not changing lou." I informed him patting his back.

"Besides they're here already I pointed outside." I added.

We walked outside to find everyone but Jake. Of course Jake would be the last one here he's worse than a girl when it comes to getting ready.

After waiting another ten minutes for him he finally showed up. We all got in the same car except Louis he was picking Monica up. So Jake texted him the address for him to meet us there.
