Scarlett rushed them outside. They had surprisingly no trouble with the fairy guards. They just stood there. Maybe the Fairy King had granted them some sort of pass?
Scarlett shoved the boys outside. "You know the plan! Go!" She urged.
The elven boys twisted around and stumbled, falling on their hands and knees. "Yes, we know the plan, but that does not mean we like it!" Rydel snarled, rising from the ground and brushing himself off as Merlyn did the same.
"Well, I don't care whether you like it or not! I want my sister back! And if you won't help us, I promise you, I'll kill you. I'll kill you both. And you'll have slow agonizing deaths. I want my sister to be free of that monster! For about four days I have been trapped with him! You don't know just how monstrous he can be! I do not want my sister to be bound to it! Even if I have to be a murdered to get her free, so be it."
The elven boys were silent. They knew of sister love, but never had they seen encountered one so... Extreme.
"Alright, alright. We shall do it; but not only for you. We consider her our friend." Rydel stated.
Scarlett looked him up and down. "Okay, Elf. Just get going else your 'friend' might get hurt." Scarlett commanded, emphasizing 'friend'.
Rydel looked confused but Merlyn started to chuckle.
"Come, friend, we must leave. Scarlett has a fair point. The longer we dally, the more danger Mariana is in."
Rydel nods and turns, heading down the bridge. Merlyn gave a small smile of farewell to Scarlett and followed his best friend.
When he caught up, they raced away, heading to the Elven Kingdom.
