Scarlett opened the door to Mariana's and Taylor's shared room. She bounded inside and closed the door.
"Whelp," She began, popping the 'p', "that was interesting."
Taylor lifted her head from the pillow to look at Scarlett.
"How so?"
"Well, they gave me no trouble there and back. It was weird. It's like they didn't even notice us. I don't even know the word to describe them! Inanimate, maybe? Lifeless? Kind of like a toy without its batteries. It's still there, but it just doesn't function."
Taylor looked at Scarlett strangely.
"Yeah, told you," She sighed, inching over to Mariana's bed and sitting down. "Weird."
Taylor sighed and dropped her head. "Yeah, you're right." Taylor admitted.
"What?" Scarlett asked incredulously.
Taylor shrugged, her shoulder-length blonde hair splayed around her head like a halo, and her limbs sprawled about the bed. "I dunno. There's something about this place that just feels... Wrong. I don't think weird is the right word."
Scarlett nodded. "Yeah..." She mumbled.
"So... What are we supposed to do? The boys have a job- do we?" Taylor asked.
Scarlett smiled. "Definitely. Follow me." She stood and bustled out of the room, Taylor following.
"What now?" She asked as they made their way down winding corridors.
"Now, we find Mariana."
