A Mystery quest !

"Look, let me get this straight. I swear to lucifer I didn't write this letter, ok. I don't know about the muscle man thing, how did that come up, but if there is my address on the letter and my signature too that does not necessarily mean I wrote the letter. Please trust me. I am a detective. Why on earth will I kill Lewis and send you letters?" Ben said trying to explain Liza.

"Really, Ben Stokes, who do you think you are? You will do crimes, and you think you won't get caught just because you are a detective too. Wow, you are really a dumbass." Liza said countering Ben's comments. Ben was just taken aback. He couldn't believe his ears. His heart wanted time to accept the fact that his mind had already accepted. He gazed into Liza's eyes. All he could see was hatred.

He said,"I can't believe you woman. I have worked like a year with you and in just one case you have lost all your trust on me. You yourself know that the killer can copy my sign, write down my address anywhere and still you believe that killer. Ridiculous. You know what, I am leaving my job. I am tired of all this cases and now you have given me another reason to do that. So, I will give my resignation today itself."

Ben's words had a deep impact on Liza. She realized the fact that the killer can actually play games like that. She immediately said,"Hey hey Ben, no. I am extremely sorry for my behaviour. Please pardon me. I was just overwhelmed by this letter. So many things were against you. Your address, your signature, your nick name which only both of us knew. All these factors led me to believe on this letter. I am sorry. Please put yourself in my shoes and you will understand."

Ben saw Liza's eyes now. They had sympathy in them. Ben said,"Liza this isn't done. This is the second time you have had a doubt on me. We can't work like this. The killer is trying to increase the gap between us, so that his work can be easy. You are making his work easy. Please trust me. I have no intrest in all these bullshit things."

Liza nodded and said,"Yeah you are correct. I am so dumb. Why am I so dumb? I am really sorry for everything." Ben replied,"It's ok. But u gotta promise me. You won't just doubt on me next time. You will think and think deeply and then say anything." Liza nodded. "Ok now, come here." Ben said, as he hugged Liza.

Ben said,"Ok now, let's move forward with the case. We will go to Lewis's mansion tommorow and investigate each and everyone's room." Liza nodded. She said,"So I think that's it for today. I will see you tommorow then. Bye, catch ya later. Take care." Ben said,"Yeah, you too."

Both the detectives went to their individual homes. Ben was very surprised after today's incident. He thought to himself,"If the killer has put this many blames on me till now, then he will probably put more. I need to be careful. But how the hell did the killer came to know about my nickname. The nickname which only Liza and I know. I dont know that, but this time, if something like today happens, Liza is not going to trust me, I swear. So I really need to be careful."

Back at her home, Liza was thinking about today's incident. "Why all the blames are coming on Ben? First that call incident and then today the letter. I know Ben can't do these things, but I can't totally ignore theses facts. I need to keep a watch on Ben." Liza said, as she curled herself to sleep.

Time passed with its speed. It was a beautiful morning in Paris. The summer was now at its peak. Ben  picked up Liza from her home and both then headed to Lewis's mansion. "First I would really like to check Elisha's and Scarlett's room. They both are like my very suspicious suspects. Then, Steve and Mathew would be great. The brothers, we will investigate their's at last. I don't know this thing, but I feel that Jones and Jason are innocent. It doesn't seem like they are attached to this case." Liza said.

Ben said,"Never judge or trust anyone in a crime case. You can get betrayed." Ben laughed. Liza saw Ben in amazement. She said looking towards Ben,"Yeah, you are absolutely right. Never judge or trust anyone in a crime case." Liza meant that she still won't trust Ben. She still had doubts on him.

Both the detectives reached Lewis's mansion. They came in. Co-incedently everyone was sitting in the hall. Ben said,"Good morning. Great to see you all. So, today we are gonna investigate each and everyone's room. All six of you." Everyone nodded. The killer became tensed as adrenaline rushed through his or her body.

Liza said,"So we will start with Elisha's room followed be Scarlett's room and then the boys's rooms." Elisha looked towards Liza in hatred. Liza saw Elisha too. The hatred between the two was going on increasing day by day.

Liza and Ben headed their way towards Elisha's room. Ben opened the door. The room was in utter mess.  Everything was just thrown everywhere. Water was spilled on the floor. Liza said,"What can you expect from a sluty bitch?" Ben nodded. Both entered the room.

The investigation began. Liza and Ben started searching through the mess. There was a glass of wine, a jar of Nutella and a bunch of grapes. The room was in a mess but in the mess were some precious things.

After a lot of search, Ben found a packet of drug. He told Liza. Liza was amazed. "Now this proves that everyone takes drugs because till now only Elisha was left to say that she takes drugs and now Co-incedently everyone's blood type is B+. Wow!!"

Ben said,"Well it's not going to be easy to catch the killer. We need one more of the killer's profile and don't forget that we have to still find the murder weapon." Liza nodded.

Both continued their investigation. Liza found some torned pieces of paper in Elisha's dustbin. She picked them all up and noticed that there is something written on the pieces. So she decided to keep the pieces in her bag and later on in her office work on those pieces. She kept the pieces in her bag.

Liza and Ben then didn't find anything important. So they decided to leave this messy room and go to Scarlett's room. Ben closed the door and both headed their way towards Scarlett's room.

The murder weapon was yet to be disclosed. Liza and Ben didn't know that the murder weapon was soon gonna be found out. Yeah! Soon the murder weapon will be disclosed and found out, but where and in which room?
