A Mystery quest !

I am the killer

Liza was left awestruck and stunned to the core. She screamed,"Johnnnnn" but no reply. No one was present in that room. The irony is that, around that time, the lab is occupied by many humans.

Liza immediately got up from the body. The smell of the dead and rotten body was all around the room. Tears started rolling down through Liza's cheeks. She was just sitting there next to murdered John, like a dork!

The body was taken for autopsy, by another famous detective Stuart Dale. The area of the lab, where John was found dead was closed by a tape which said:

"Crime scene: do not cross."

This type of tape is always used for enclosing the crime scenes.

Liza was left to ponder over everything. She was getting messed up with Lewis Walten case, and now here we go! Her lab assistant John is dead. Another mystery!

Liza went to Nestlé's lab. She reached and immediately started weeping. Nestlé asked her,"Hey darling. Why are you crying?" Liza's intensity of crying increased but she did manage to say something.

She said hesitatingly,"John's..joh..John's dead." Nestlé was startled. She said,"Wtf. How, when, what, who?" Liza asked her female detective counterpart to stop asking many questions. Nestlé agreed. She asked,"But tell me everything from the beginning."

Liza sighed and said, "I reached the lab to shower questions on John. As I went inside, I fell on something very heavy. I opened my eyes to find myself above John's dead body. Blood was gushed out of him. It was everywhere. I immediately got up. As I was above his body, blood was now on my clothes too. That liquid was smelling nasty making me nauseous. I screamed for the man, but to no avail. And then, 2 of the people who work in our lab, came and asked me about the incident. I told them everything and then they decided to call the cops."

Nestlé said,"This is disgusting. No one was there when the man was murdered. Hey, but the cctv cameras will have the footage right. So, here the killer is caught with ease."

Liza nodded and said,"Yeah, this case is quite easy. Stuart Dale is gonna handle this case. He took the footage of the cameras. The killer will be arrested soon." Nestlé smiled.

Liza said,"What is going on here? Lewis's case is not showing any signs of improvement. When it was going to show, the source died. Now, all my answers are left to be told." Nestlé went in deep thoughts as Liza said this statement. She hit upon something.

She said,"Liza, this case is pretty linked to Lewis. See, John told you false answers and results about Ben. He must have done this because someone must be forcing him. Now, he shouldn't disclose the name of that person who forced him, that's the probable reason he is dead. Maybe, the one who forced him, got scared and killed John. Maybe he is Lewis's killer too."

Liza was dismayed. She asked,"Where are you taking a small detail? We are just assuming." Nestlé said,"This assumption can be quite accurate. See, Lewis's killer wants to escape by putting Ben behind the bars and by proving him the killer to you. He worked out 3 incidents and proved to you that Ben is the killer. Here, John had proved that Ben is the killer. But, when I analysed the weapon, I came up to the results that Ben isn't the killer. So.."

Liza got something in her mind. She said,"So, as soon as I came to know that Ben isn't the killer, I decided to go to John and ask him that why he showed me false results. The killer got that news of me going towards John from nowhere. He decided to kill John and thus ending up the source to all my answers."

Nestlé said in agreement,"Exactly! Look, answer to lead your case. Look at the results of the cctv camera footage and whoever is the killer, we will go and enquire about him. We will talk to him and most probably that time, he will diclose the fact that he is the killer himself. And I am getting this feeling that the killer is from the 6 suspects only. No one is going to come at midnight in Lewis's house to kill him."

Liza agreed. She said,"So true, Nestlé. But, anyone can buy Lewis's servants. I mean, the killer can pay one of Lewis's servants some money, get the key to his room and that servant can help the killer to get access to Lewis's room. Everything is possible."

Nestlé said,"Yup. Correct mate. We will wait for the results of the footage. Then, we will ask the killer of John, about Lewis. Most probably he will also be the killer of Lewis. Let's wait and watch."

Liza agreed. The blonde with silky hair decided to go to her office and take rest. She bid goodbye to Nestlé and went to her office. This case of Lewis Walten had taken a troll on her.

She reached her office. After some 5 minutes, her office employee came and said,"Mam, someone wants to meet you." Liza asked,"Who is it?" The man replied,"It's some Jones Wood." Liza got up wondering why Jones is here. She went outside, seeing Jones waiting for her.

She asked,"What happened buddy?" Jones asked,"Should we go to your office room and talk? It's private." Liza nodded. She headed towards her office room and Jones followed. Both reached the room.

Liza asked,"Now tell. What's so urgent, that brought you all the way here?" Jones waited for a long moment and said,"I have to tell you something." Liza said,"Go ahead." Jones took his time and said:

"I am the one who killed Lewis Walten. Your case ends up with me."
