We'd arranged for the children to have a room to themselves for entertainment whilst the adults made use of the free bar and dance floor. However, before the kids left for their own room, we had to do both the father/daughter dance and the first dance as husband and wife.

As the first song started up, my dad wrapped an arm around my waist and led me to the middle of the room. Wrapping my arms around his neck, I laid my head against his chest and swayed in time to the music. He occasionally added in a few spins and dipped me at one point, which made me laugh.

The song was slow and unfamiliar to me, seeing as dad had chosen it. "I'm so glad you could all be here." I told him, my head resting against his chest once again.

"So am I, love." I could hear the smile in his voice, and vibrations rumbled through his chest as he spoke. "Leighla, I'm so happy for you. You deserve this, you really do. You make me so proud, love, and it makes my old heart swell to know that I helped raise you into the wonderful woman you are today."

My eyes filled with tears as I looked up at him, leaning forwards to kiss his cheek. "I love you, daddy. I've missed you guys so much." He smiled into my hair as the song came to a close, kissing the top of my head and handing me off to Andy.

"You take care of my daughter, Andrew. I know where you live." He shot me a wink as Andy nodded, smiling and pulling me back to the middle of the room.

Andy had kept me in the dark over what song we'd be dancing to, and I was excited to hear what he'd chosen. "Is it one of your songs?" I asked him, wrapping my arms around his neck as his went around my waist.

"Just you wait and see." He grinned and tapped the side of his nose. I let out a groan before grinning as the song began to play.

"You, my dearest Batman, are amazing." I whispered is his ear, pressing my lips to his neck.

It was a song that meant a hell of a lot to our relationship. It was the song he'd whispered in my ear when we listened to it at the first gig we'd seen together. It was the song he'd played in front of a whole audience in order to patch things up with me when things had been rough for us. It was the song that he sang in my ear when I felt low and as though things would never get better. It was the song he'd used to mend my heart time and time again. And it was my favourite song ever because of all these things.

It was a song called 'Little Bit of Truth' by a band called 'You Me At Six'.

"I love you, Lala Biersack-Parke." He whispered softly as we began to sway, turning in circles and just looking into each other's eyes - cheesy as that sounds.

"I love you too, Batman Biersack-Parke. Forever and always." He smiled a little, leaning down to lean his forehead against mine.

"Forever and always." His lips were deliciously tempting as they hovered only a breath away from mine. Despite my urge to lean forwards and press my lips to his, I stayed where I was and just leant into his warmth.

When the song was finally over, it took a hell of a lot of effort from both of us to pull apart and head back over to the sides of the room. Before we could even consider leaving each other's arms, however, I pressed my lips to Andy's in a soft kiss. We did nothing more than hold our lips together, eyes wide open as we stared at each other.

I pulled back slightly, my lips still brushing faintly again his, and smiled. "Forever and always, for there is no greater light in my life than you." I breathed out our vows, my eyes still gazing into his as he repeated them back to me. "I love you, Andrew Dennis Biersack-Parke. More than anything."
