"What about this one?" Andy asked, pointing at the first dress he saw when we entered the store. "Can we buy this one?" I just laughed, shoving him gently and going over to the racks. "How long are we going to be here for?" He groaned, flopping down on the nearest seat.

"As long as it takes for me to make some progress in deciding what I want. I still don't have a fucking clue." He just groaned, knowing that it'd take forever for me to meet that goal. "We'll get lunch when we leave this shop though, so stop whining and help me look." He perked up at my words, jumping up and pretending to look at the dresses in front of him.

One of the people who worked there came over and gave us a weird look. "Hi, I'm Jessica." She looked vaguely suspicious of the two of us as we searched the racks. "Can I help you?" She really didn't want to be talking to us, judging by the look on her face. She looked to be in her mid-fifties and was the sort of person I wouldn't ever think to approach. Her hair was sleeked back without a single strand out of place and her clothes were completely crease-free.

"Um, yes please?" I said, trying to ignore the way she was watching us. We weren't even dressed particularly 'weirdly' today - I was in black jeans, a sleeveless band shirt and a pair of high-tops. I'd taken off my leather jacket when we entered the store as it was uncomfortably hot, and my makeup was pretty plain. I guess it was the tattoos and piercings that had her acting all jumpy. Andy was wearing his normal gear - pumps with ripped up jeans and a shirt matching mine. He was wearing minimal makeup, but it was still visible. He'd also removed his jacket when entering the store, so we both had our tattoos showing. "I'm not really sure what I want, but the wedding is in a month and a half so I kind of need to sort something out."

She seemed to relax after realizing I didn't speak like a demon, and she smiled a little as she examined my figure. "I think this style would suit you beautifully." She said, pulling apart the racks to find a gorgeous ivory dress. It was fitted at the bust before flowing easily into a long train. The detail was minimal but still there, subtle in a way that I loved.

Smiling, I ran my fingers over the length of the dress and nodded. "I quite like the style of it." She was practically beaming as she pulled the dress from the rack and removed a few others too.

"Let's go and try these on, shall we?" When I nodded and began to follow her from the room, she turned to face Andy. "The groom stays here, thank you very much." I laughed as Andy pouted.

"Babe, I'll show you when I'm dressed." He heaved a dramatic sigh and threw himself onto the seat nearest to him, gesturing for me to leave. I just laughed and continued to follow Jessica to the changing rooms.

"Holy fu- cow." I corrected myself when I saw Jessica's raised eyebrow in the mirror. "I love it."

I'd already tried on six dresses by this point, and none but the one I wore now had suited me as much as I'd wanted them to. This dress, however, was beautiful on and off the hanger.

It had quite a low neckline, but not so low that my boobs were falling out, with ruffles across the bust. Straight under the ruffles, there was a seam under which the skirt flowed easily. The skirt was pretty much plain and didn't puff out too much. The detail was subtle but gorgeous and there was very little beading. The train was short but still long enough to drag slightly, and the dress was white with subtle bits of black intertwined. The back was mostly uncovered and laced together in a corseted style that I loved.

"I think I'm in love." Said a voice from behind me. I leant into Andy's touch as his arms came around me and raised an eyebrow in our reflection.

"You think you're in love? I'm hurt, Batman." I said, placing a hand over my heart in mock upset. "I thought what we had was real."
