Before Juliet left our house, she gave me her phone number and made me promise to call her. I'd laughed and nodded, actually planning on keeping to my promise. As weird as it was, knowing that her and Andy had dated, I actually found myself enjoying her company.

"I can't believe you made friends with my ex-girlfriend." Andy said, seemingly amazed by my lack of jealousy towards the girl. I laughed, rolling my eyes and ruffling his hair in mock-patronisation.

"Andy, someday you too will realize that there is no reason to be jealous towards those who once had what you now have." He rolled his eyes with a smile and I continued to talk as normal. "She was here for Crow, not you, and I wasn't bothered at all once I'd realized that."

He bit his lip, seemingly considering what I'd said. "What would you say if I told you wanted to meet Drew?" I almost spat out the mouthful of coffee I'd been about to swallow at his words, unsure of how else to react. After struggling to keep the hot coffee in my mouth, I all-but-forced it down my throat and met his eyes.

"Why would you tell me that?" I said faux-casually, trying to keep the anxiety from showing in my voice. "Why would you want to meet Drew?" He didn't seem all that bothered by my reaction, instead shrugging and taking a completely casual sip of coffee.

"I figure, since you're met my most recent ex, I should meet yours." I wasn't sure how to respond to his casual attitude towards a request like this.

"Andy, I didn't ask to meet Juliet. She just showed up at our house. I'm not going to invite my ex-boyfriend from England to my house in America to meet my husband. Do you understand how ridiculous that request is?" He didn't seem to grasp my concerns, instead shrugging them off and slinging an arm across my shoulders.

"It's not really a big deal, and I never said we had to invite him here. I was just saying I kind of want to meet him. Maybe if we tour together at some point and go to England, or next time we go down to see your family, we could stop by his apartment?" I let out a sigh and shut my eyes, trying not to vent my frustrations.

"I can't take my husband to meet the ex-boyfriend I haven't seen in years - that's just mental, Batman. It's not happening." He laughed a little, rolling his eyes as I raised an eyebrow.

"Fine, fine, Leighla. I was just asking." He could tell that I wasn't exactly about to warm to the idea, and I smiled a little at him leaving the subject alone.

"Thank you." He smiled before pressing play on the film Juliet's arrival had interrupted. The film had been paused mid-song, and within seconds of it playing, we were both singing along. Taking Crow onto my lap, I lifted his arms and moved them a little so that it looked like he was dancing. Andy laughed as he did the same to Peanut, and before we knew it, we were both on our feet and dancing ourselves.

Once the song had ended, I paused the film and grabbed my iPod and put it in the dock, putting on the playlist we usually played during the day. Andy grinned as 'I Won't Let You Down' from his band's self-titled album came on, and he sang it loudly as we danced around the lounge.

At first we sang together with our voices harmonising perfectly, attempting to actually sound good, but after a while we gave up on that and belted out the lyrics completely out of tune. It was amazingly fun, just dancing around without a care in the world and being able to sing without putting in any effort.

We spent over an hour just listening to music and all-but-yelling out the lyrics, loudly humming any words we were unsure of. Eventually, there was a knock on the front door which turned out to be our neighbours complaining about the noise. We'd apologized with no intention to turn down our volume, before explaining that we'd gotten married just the day before.
