Chapter Fifteen

*DANS POV*

"Your the only person I need Dan" I heard her say

I don't understand, I was a strong believer of the saying 'true love takes time' but I have fallen in love with a girl I have only known for a matter of days, I mean I have seen her on Skype once when me and Phil first moved in together but I didn't even see her face properly so that doesn't really count, but anyway I wish this moment could last forever I have never felt so close to her I felt our hands entwined and her hot breaths on my neck I like knowing shes safe in my arms nobody can hurt her when shes there, her phone then started vibrating in her pocket

"Whos that?"

She pulls her phone out of her pocket and pulls her hand away from mine, she couldn't hide the worry that had spread across her face.

"Its Liam."

"W-whats he said?"

She handed me her phone her hand was shaking, I took it out of her hand and read the message 'Hey Ali baby, I believe you have broke up with me. You should already known by now it doesn't work like that I decide when we break up and if we stay together. Oh yeah you should have probably turned your location off you silly bitch, cant wait to see you baby.'

"Dan hes coming for me, Dan.. Dan Im scared.." she started to panic and a few tears dropped down her cheeks

"PHIL!" I yelled although I wanted to, I knew I couldn't help her on my own, I wrapped my arms around her shaking body "I wont let anybody hurt you okay I promise"

"Yeah?" Phil stopped after seeing the state she was in "what the hells happened?" he said moving me away from her and wrapping his own arms around her

"Here read this.." I handed him her phone, Ali didn't seem to be getting any better it seemed she was getting worse she was going into a state of panic, I sat her down on the floor and knelt down by her side "Ali listen to me.. everything will be alright.."

"Dan can I speak with you outside for one minute?" Phil requested I nodded

I left the room leaving Ali on her own making me feel uneasy I wanted to get this little conversation over with so I could get back and calm her down.

"Dan I hate saying this but shes in danger I'm going to do everything I can to make sure he cant get anywhere near my little sister, will you do the same please?"

"Phil do you really think you needed to ask me that? Shes my girlfriend for god sake I wont let him come anywhere near her!"

"Good, Dan you haven't met Liam.. Not properly anyway, hes a drug addict he got Ali into them for a short period of time, and every now and then when she walks into the living room she smells of either cigarettes or weed, anyway I got off subject, hes not a good person Dan.. If you see him unless its the only thing you can do, don't fight him hes stronger than the both of us put together just get Ali away and call the police and show them the texts because they are threats and you can get him done for that"

"Okay, but wait Ali did drugs?"

"Yeah shes done a lot of things in the past and has come very close to death way to may times, I think that's why she stopped"

"Oh right.." Ali never came across as the druggy type? If that's something that dickhead forced her into doing I swear I will make him regret it "Phil go get Ali some water she seemed a bit panicy when I left, but Im going to go back in okay?" Phil nodded granting me permission to go in and see her.

I walked in to see Ali with her back facing the door still sat in the same place she had just rotated a little I walked over to see if she was okay, I knelt down behind her she was still crying only then did a shiny thing catch my eye, she was moving a small piece of metal across her skin slowly each time pressing down harder I watched her make to large deep cuts when it came into realisation what she was doing "Holy shit!" I say snatching the blade out her hand I stood up and ran to the bathroom dropping the bloody blade in the sink and grabbing a towel, I rushed back to Ali's room and pressed the towel to her wrist trying to stop the bleeding, after a minute the blood coming from her wrist slowed but I still didn't remove the towel "Why!? You promised me Ali! You promised!" I say bursting into tears

"Im sorry but I have to punish myself before he can punish me!" There was a loud smash, Phil was stood in the doorway teary eyed he dropped the glass on the floor and rushed over

"Why Ali?" he asked trying to stay calm

"Hes coming for me Phil and theres no stopping him"

"He isn't going to get you, not while you have us!" I say making my point clear

"I stopped for so long.. now it seems to be the only thing that relieves my pain.." she began to cry once again.

"Ali we are here and we always will be okay? If you ever feel the need to cut come and sit with us, if you want to cry then cry, if you want to talk we will talk even if you want to sit in bloody silence we will sit in silence with you! You have us you don't need the blade when you have us.." Phil said this time letting a tear slip down his cheek

"For now I have you, to stop me cutting and to protect me fro Liam.. what about when the summers over? Im alone again? what then"

"I don't know yet but if things carry on the way they have been doing, lets just forget about the small incident" Phil said looking at me for a moment "and we are all getting along, I will ask mum if you can move up here to London, and finish school up here okay?"

"THANKYOU!" the tears stopped as she sprung up to hug her brother "THANKYOU SO MUCH" she turned around to me and pecked my lips.

I guess I don't have to worry about a long distance relationship now ay?
