Tell her what happenned, what you wanted to do to me when you saw me. What you knew that i didn't know.said Brook to the fuming Emily.

I almost kicked her on the stomack, almost. But William was there and caught me in time for me to see that she was pregnant. answered the brunette.

William? You meen Willy Granger? asked Mary to Brook And you tried to kick her while she was pregnant with Rachel? What the hell is wrong with you Em? she fired a dirty look to Emily.

Yap Willy. He was there at the library with her, i don't know why, but he was there. And i wasn't thinking at all, the only thing in my head was that i had to make her suffer as much as she made you suffer.said Emily

He was there because he is my cousin. He was there because i had no one else to be with me at the moment. He was there because my ass of a boyfriend decided that he couldn't be a father to the baby that i was caring inside me. He was there because i wanted to buy some books to help me with the pregnancy, to know the do's and the don't's. Brook blurted out with tears falling from her face

Sometime later Mr.Bronnam was found guilty of having an affair with a student, that wasn't you, Mary. I said it was you because i had seen a girl that was quite sure that was you heavilly making out with him on his office. she said looking up to her wife

Instead of asking you if you were insane enough to do it with him i just shouted to the wind what i saw. I was angry with you, i thought that you did it and i was jealous of you, i wanted you for me and nobody else. I told you before, i was confused, i didn't know how to read the feelings that i had for you at the time. Mother wasn't there for me, i only had the school persona, and i felt that you were getting more and more away from me, i felt that i was losing you, so i decided to lash out. she continued looking embaraced to her feet letting the tears fall.

Wait. shouted Mary. You knew about this? The professor's affair with a student and you didn't tell me anything? she asked Emily.

I was the one who told Brook when i found her in that library. She started to pass right and left and rambled that she was sorry to do it to you. Emily answered sheepishly After that we didn't talk again and i went back home, caught the flight and went to Miami for my parents funeral. she finished looking away from the other women.

I tried to find you, but you were like a ghost. I didn't know were you lived, worked or hanged out, it was over before it ever started. grunted Brook. I gave up.

Mary looked between the two women trying to understand the situation. She didn't know that Brook had tried to find her after what happened, and she was inclined to believe that Emily didn't want it to happen if she had a say about it. She took a cleansing breath and looked into her "once upon a time lover"' s eyes. You thought that i would never find out about this, didn't you? she whispered calmly You thought that you somehow later could have a chance with me? she continued coming toe to toe with the woman.

The other woman gulped taking in the furious look on her ex's eyes, never in her life she felt that she screwed up so badly. She had her chance and she blew it all by herself, she knew that. The woman in front of her could have been her friend, a dear one, but she went on her way without as much as a goodbye to the one that she loved, and loves, she just got up and out without looking back, the regretfull mask came forward breaking her anger with the one that took her love away from her, the tears came down hard.

That time she knew that she wouldn't have her bestfriend back, much less her lover. I'm sorry. So so sorry Mary. she gasped through the tears. Taking a step forward she kissed Mary's forehead tenderly bidding her goodbye. She turned aroud and came face to face with Brook taking her hand between her's . If you hurt her, even unconciously, i will make you regret it. she said looking into her rival's eyes. Take good care of her, don't fuck up as i did. Make her happy 'cause i know that she loves you back. she gave her a sad smirk You're a lucky woman Brook Conner Ericson. and she went out the door without looking back.
