Two weeks later Mary found herself by the door of her mother's store, even after the divorce Alice never stopped working, she found in that store a second home besides the one that she shared with her ex-husband.
To many times she would stay in the store to avoid an angry and drunk Jack. She decided to get a divorce in that store after she had found a friend in Sebastian. Sebastian could be mistaken as her ex-husband's brother, he was built in a similar way, but his eyes were chocolate brown, almost black and his heart was surely her's and no one else's.
Alice knew that Sebastian would become an important person for her, she knew him from the time that she went to school. He had been one of the her usual clients when she worked at the caffé. Thinking about the trials that she lived until she met him again by the fountain in the park, she let a smile break in her face, the happiness, the felling of being loved, sharished, protected made her giddy.
Mary saw that look in Alice's face and she too let one of her one appear on her's, she knew that smile from a miles away, she too walked mindlessly sometimes through the day after being with her lover with that same smile, the bright eyes, the skip on her step. She broke the silence in her mother's store by knocking on the door. Alice broke the smile on her face only to smile again to her visitor.
So i´ve been thinking, what should i give to my goddaughter? said a nervous Mary.
I think you should ask your brother and John. But before that you should inform them that you accept their invitation. answered Alice still smiling down to her daughter. And it wouldn't hurt if you huged me first. she said letting a smirk stretch on her face.
I think that it could be arranged. she stepped to her mother giving her a warm hug.
How have you been? we didn't talk for a while.
I would ask you the same, but i saw Sebastian coming out a while ago and judging by the smile that you had in your face i would presume that you are quite alright. teased Mary.
And you would be right about it. Sebastian makes me feel happy, and you shouldn't tease me, last lunch that we shared you were skiping, you hear me, skiping, not walking as usual, almost if you were in wonderland, just not Alice. answered Alice smirking to her daughter's flushed face. They found themselves laughting for a moment before they sobered a bit.
How are your wedding plans going? you know that you can call if you need help. Grace would be more than helpfull, and she likes those things, you should call her.
We are going slowly. Give me her number and i´ll do it.
after minutes of silence Mary looked curiously to her mother, Alice was showing apprehension under Mary's look.
What is it? Asked Mary.
After marring we, Sebastian and i, were thinking about starting a new family, we were thinking about adoption. Alice answered nervous. After your brother came out with the idea i found myself wondering about it, and after sometime i talked to Sebastian about it, and he said that he was open to that option, that he would do it after we marry.
wow. said a surprised Mary.
Didn't you ever wanted to have children? To give me grandkids? asked Alice.
laughing at the question I didn't had to think about it, i think about Rachel as if she was mine. From one day to the next i found myself with the love of my life and a little angel to take care, i found myself a family after i let Brook into my life, and i wouldn't do it differently. Reaching to Alice's hand and taking it on her's. So, if you want to have a new family with Sebastian, do it, don't think to much, as i said we are getting older by the minute, so you have to enjoy what you have and perfect what you think needs some tuning.

In the other side of Boston Brook was discussing arangements of her own with her mother, Grace.
You think this is the right time? asked a nervous Brook to her mother gesturing to the small box on the top of the kitchen counter.
Do you feel that this is the right time to do it? asked Grace
I think that i love her more than anyone i ever had in my life, she loves Rachel as if she was her own, she gives me what i need and more, i think, no....., I KNOW, this is the right time to ask her to have me and all that comes with me. I want to hear her call me her wife and most importantly i want to be able to call her MY WIFE. She is the only one that i want from now on, her and her only. said Brook with a watery smile.

NO, I have it GOOD for her, and you know it for years. answered Brook.
yeah, i know. I was the one helping you after what you did. said Grace smiling sadly to her daughter. If you hurt her again you don't need to worry about her family. I will give you your punishment for them. Grace said seriously Don't let her slip away hun, love like the one you have comes only once in a lifetime. she said caressing her daughter's teary face.
