It's been two days since Brook heard of Mary, they were supost to settle the time for their reunion but Mary never called back. Brook tried to call her several times during Saturday but could never get in touch with Mary. She was getting restless, nervous, anxious. After breakfast Brook decided to call Sophia, one of Mary's friends and coworkers on the building.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MARY? WHY IS SHE IN THE HOSPITAL? getting upset and passing from side to side in the living room floor.
You didn't know? She was shoot by a wako in the office, she called security and the guy started shotting to everywere and Mary was caught in the line of fire. The guy almost killed the ADA but was shoot dead by a detective that was in McDunnam's office. Then she was taken to MassGen. Ms Parker was lucky that Mary didn't make the guy's life easy, she put herself between him and Parker's office door.

1 hour later............. MassGen Hospital
Arriving at the nurse derk Brook asked for Mary's room number. The nurse indicated her were to go. In a chair by the hospital room door was a blonde tall man that looked older then her, he appeared to be familiar. she continued to walk until she was by his side.
Excuse me, are you here for Mary Ericson? she askes him. When the man looked up she immediatly knew that she was in front of David, Mary's brother.

We were trying to get back to be friends. I was suposed to see her today by the park but you know.
Mary is in coma, she is recuperating from the bloodlost caused by the shot. You can see her, she is in there, my mom is with her. David said pointing to the room and motioning her to go in.
When she entered the room she almost was knocked to her knees by the image of Mary on the bed almost envolved in a cocoon of wires and tubes, David helped her to her feet before she could fall.
Ok, calm down. She is strong, she'll be fine. Just breath. David helped her seat in a chair by the bed. She took a gulp of water that David gave her and took a few calming breaths looking to Mary's expressionless face.
Hi Brook, how have you been child? It's been a long time since we saw you. Said Mary's mother looking tiredly to Brook across the bed.
You're right it's been some time. I happened to meet Mary three weeks ago, when i was with my mother, by chance in a caffé downtown. She almost led me to believe it wasn't her that i saw there. Since then we were trying to become friends again. smilling sadly to the older women. I hope i'm not to late. looking to her hands clasped in her lap.
If i still know my daughter, at least a bit of her, i think that she would love to have you in her life again. Just don't give up on her now, OK? getting up andcrossing the room to crouch in front of Brook, looking to Brook's eyes and interlacing their hands together.
