Emily started to drum her fingers on the table, a publisher wanted her as his new photographer, his magazine was celebrating it's 100th edition and he was late for their metting, she huffed against the speaker, the man was nothing but professional but he was notorious for being late for his appointments.

She looked around the caffé thinking how much her life changed on the recent years. If someone said to her that she would have a child, wouldn't have Mary with her and would be jumping from place to place taking photoshoots and freelancing for living she would laugh on their faces calling them insane. She let out a dry laught thinking about it, it's been a week since she got to Boston and she couldn't find Mary nowhere, her contact said that she was working in an ADA's Office as a secretary, she followed the directions but didn't find Mary there. She asked the new secretary but the woman was as clueless as her about it. Now she was waiting for an interview with a magazine publisher that wanted a freelancer photographer to make a photoshoot of the wild life in Boston's area. 10 minutes lter the guy still didn't make himself known, she took it as a sign to move on, she got up and went to pay her coffee and dump the paper cup. When she turned around she heard a voice that she thought to never hear again, the oh so familiar whisper of her name almost brought her tears to her eyes. Standing in front of her was a strangely familiar women, her hair was red instead of her natural blonde tresses, but those blue eyes were the ones that took her to the past and made her heart beat faster than it had in a long time.
Mary? she asked taking in her ex-lover's sight awed with her always captivating beauty.
Emily, i thought that you were in Europe galloping for photos. Mary whispered more arshly looking at her questioningly.
I have been there, but now i came here for a new job, i decided that it was time to settel down. she said looking a bit surprised. reuniting a little of her old self she continued. I've been looking for you on the ADA's office but the new secretary said that she didn't know were was your new job, so i just put it on the back burner.
