Dre, Carmelo, and myself kicked back and watched as some rookies played basketball on the courts. It was a nice sunny day, basketball weather as we like to call it.

"I heard you're having relationship problems," Carmelo teased with a smirk on his face.

I smacked my lips, already knowing he heard that from his sister Tisha, since she's best friends with my girl. Plus, he's an instigator who loves drama like a female.

"How you going to talk about a relationship when you can't even get one of your own," Dre came to my defense.

Me and Dre started laughing so hard. "Oh so you got jokes," Carmelo replied getting all defensive. Dre shook his head and smiled real big. "Sure do."

"I ain't going to have relationship problems no more though," I informed them both, getting serious, "Diane and Alexus are going to talk today."

Carmelo smacked his lips while Dre shook his head. "Damn man, are you out yo' mind," Carmelo questioned me, "what do you mean talk? You know once Diane sees Alexus she's going to be ready to throw hands."

"For real though," Dre agreed, "that girl is something else."

"She better not hit Alexus. If she do, we're going to have a problem," I stated.

"Speaking of Alexus...," Carmelo said getting serious, "I need to tell you something bro." I could tell it was something important by the look on his face. "What's up," I asked.

"I overheard Tish talking about how her and Corey kissed. I guess her and Diane went to a night club or whatever and they ran into him and his partnas."

At that moment, I went back to when I let Diane go out to the club two weeks ago.

She came to my house after, drunk and stumbling all over the place. She mentioned that she had something to tell me, but due to being drunk, she slurred on her words heavily and didn't make sense at all.

I never got the sentence out of her and never bothered to ask her about it again. I figured she probably forgot since she wasn't in her right state of mind.

I shook my head, unable to respond to the news that I just received. All I know is that I have to tell her and since she's coming over later, I might as well break it to her then.

"How was your day, baby," I asked Diane as I watched her fix us some tacos.

The aroma of the food made my stomach growl, while making my mouth water. I instantly started to crave the food.

I planted a kiss on her cheek and hugged her from behind. Her face turned rose red as she smiled hard. "It was good, how was yours," she asked as she continued on with her cooking.

I let out a sigh, laying my chin on her shoulder. "I mean it started off good, but then it went sour."

"You okay, babe," she asked concerned. I let her go, then made my way to the table. I took a seat debating whether or not I should talk to her about the girl she hates oh so much.

Since she's somehow connected to the story, I just went ahead and started the conversation off. "I know you don't want to talk about her. But-"

"Let me guess, it's about Alexus," she cut me off as she turned around and looked at me. I shook my head in the positives and watched as her face turned.
