Chapter 16 - Take Care

It's only been a month since I had that talk with Alexus and already, I could see happiness slowly creeping inside of her. She had this glow to her now and you could see it in the way she walks and talks that she was slowly becoming the Alexus we all knew before Corey.

Don't get me started about how happy she gets when she's around Jigga. Let's just say she like a kid in a candy story in a way. When she talks about him, you could see the glow in her eyes and hear the love in her voice.

She truly admired that man and he admired her in the same way. I never seen my boy so happy with a girl, not with Katherine and not even with Diane.

You could tell he regrets the fact that he left her hanging and is trying to make up for it, but he's there for her now. As a matter of fact, he's always been there. He just slipped up.

I knew it from the beginning of time that they had love for each other, but to this day I don't know what was stopping them. I'm just glad that they looked passed it and are on to better things now.

They sat on the couch, playing with BreAnne while Carmelo and myself played 2K on the Xbox One. Everything seemed picture perfect, but the picture ruined when Katherine squeezed her way in it.

The door swung open, taking us all by surprised. Katherine came marching in with a mad expression her face. She grabbed BreAnne before standing in front of Dre. "It's funny how you thought I wouldn't find out."

Carmelo's nosey instigating ass paused the game, laughing to himself as drama took place. "Man what the fuck is you talking about," Jigga snapped as BreAnne cried, "put my daughter down man, she don't need to see this."

Katherine pointed her fingers all in Alexus' face, making her slap them out of the way. Jigga stood up and got in between them so no fight would happen. "That you moved this bitch in yo' house, Jigga!"

Jigga grabbed BreAnne, placing her on her feet before sending her off into a room. "She ain't no bitch, how many times I have to tell you not to disrespect my females like that?"

"Oh, so this is your bitch now?"

Jigga sighed. "Look man, you ain't paying my bills so why the fuck does it matter that she lives here? I bet if I had yo' cheating ass in here you wouldn't care then, huh? Fuck outta here, you ain't never getting this back."

Katherine folded her arms as she eyed Alexus. "I'm tired of the bullshit you putting me through, throwing all these bitch in my face like I ain't shit. I'm gone give you a real reason to treat me like you treat, you can kiss BreAnne goodbye."

See this is the reason why I can't stand her ass, one minute she cool then the next she ain't. As a mother, I always hard respect for her because she wasn't like your typical baby moms but now that she's pulling this shit, every inch of respect I still had for her disappeared.

The argument went from the living room to whatever room BreAnne decided to go in. "How did her ass get in here anyways, the door was locked," Carmelo said, looking freaked out.

I was wondering the same thing, but my mind was way too focused on BreAnne and her being exposed to her parents arguing. I could tell we all wanted to interfere, but figured it's best not to. Personally, I don't want the situation to spiral out of control and get bigger than what it already is.
