This is a drawing I'm doing for a science assignment. I'm actually proud of this fictional little guy. Here's some information on him:

Name: Shadow Dragon

Species: Unknown, but presumably some kind of eel.

Habitat: Ocean Trench

Eye Color: Bioluminescent white.

Scale Color: Black-gray-silver.

Defensive Abilities: Shadow Dragon's eyesight is poor, but it can detect subtle changes in light, meaning that it can see silhouettes. Hyperactive hearing allows it to use sonar both as a defensive and offensive mechanism. It can also burrow into the sand relatively quickly.

Offensive Abilities: Wields a powerful neurotoxin that kills its prey within mere minutes. Using sonar, it can detect both predator and prey. The fins on each side of their body propel them to high speeds, allowing lightning-swift attacks.

Weaknesses: The fins on the tail are the main stabilizers, meaning that without the tail, movement would be very difficult. They are vulnerable to anything larger than them, is it would take longer for the poison to reach full effect. Their sense of smell has been dulled almost to the point of disuse.
