Fly Family Tree

There's an annoying fly that keeps following me everywhere. I'm naming him Earnest Jr.

ANYBODY IN MY FAMILY WILL GET THE REFERENCE

TO THOSE OF YOU NOT IN MY FAMILY - My mom had a pet fly named Earnest when she was a kid. Whenever she saw him, she would say "Hi, Earnest!" Then, one fateful day, her mother saw Earnest and said "Ew! A fly!" And whacked him.
